my ex made my tiktok get taken down by reporting it behind my back when we were still together, and when i asked her if she knew why (i knew that it was her.) she lied and said that she had no idea. her first reason (which she told a mutual friend) was because it "Triggered her because of knifes and there was no TW" (there were no knifes at all and a BIG LONG TW), then when i asked her she said "your tiktoks are simply... critical." and never elaborated/refused to elaborate. I should really block her but ik that she'll start making tiktoks about me.

I don't think they paid their rent with $6. I think they were pulling in more money from Tiktok when they first started (although still not as much as from other platforms), but now they're pulling in far less.
I literally feel so bad, especially all the people who like quit jobs to persue like content creating, which dont get me wrong, its a great career for those who are strong enough. But theres just people who have no backup plans and just thought they would be able to make it through with just that. Its actually so sad.
Well, just to let you know, and I'll use it. Probably gonna read this TikTok is owned by someone in China. So China suppresses everything they do. If you're on TikTok, China is willing to suppress all your stuff even if you're in a different country. What's this kind of wrong cause it used to be tiktok used to be owned by someone up in seattle, but somewhat in china bought it from them
They're a chinese based company they ensure that only the stuff they want appears... Turns out that they even track your finger movement on the app... and many other things- Everywhere else in the world tiktok has absolute bull*hit being put on recommend even some version of corn, and it's so hard to work through to filter all the icky stuff.. WHILE IN CHINA- the place which is it created, it's an extremely * *educational* * app with a bunch of sfw videos with even REMINDERS if you've been on the app for a while, basic tellin u to go touch grass Bcs of that there are ppl who literally THEORISE that tiktok is purposely trying to make everyone (else in the world who isn't in China) stupid... In simple words.. Shts there messed up.. Just crazy..
Ah yes, blaming China or other foreign countries for American dumbassery. In China, it is as simple as having regulations that tell these apps to promote more useful and educational content, but like guns, dr*gs, fast food and other junk, the US government doesn’t give a sh!t about what these companies put out other than speech control against certain political opinions.
Over the last 8 or so months. I've notice TikTok becoming a worse platform for creators. Seems like they took a page out of youtube book on how to treat ur creators like dogs.
Yip I know that feeling, I'm trying to become a content creator as well and since I'm starting from scratch cuz I never used to post anything before 2023. I post the same content on both on Tiktok and RU-vid and I noticed on RU-vid I get more views and I still continute to get more views however on Tiktok I get about 100 to 500 views and it just stays like that, no new views or anything, it just stays to the amount of views Tiktok wants my videos to be at.
I feel you. Im a small creator on tiktok. 250k followers. I used to get 5,000,000-25,000,000 views per month on tiktok. about £100-£250 a month on the old creator fund. but since ive switched over to the creativity programe my monthly views are now down to under 300,000. and im making less money than I did before. screw tiktok.
It's good to use tiktok to build audience and then merge over to other platforms and to be even more safe just start a business and advertise to your audience and then start more business with variety

Wayyyy back in the day that happened to me on FB. I would get 5-10k live viewers per stream. Then one day poof. Nobody was able to know when I was on FB live. Then my posts started to get the feedback questionnaire about is my post about anti suicide promoting violence. Then the engagement on written content went down. Then one day I couldn’t log in. 🤷♀️
