For anyone reading in 2022. I purchased this exhaust which is now $80. But it was absolutely worth it. I took the baffle out so it's technically just a fancy looking straight pipe. But for a 400ktr you don't want to spend a crazy amount on. It does a great job. Worth it.
The difference is like night and day. The power output of the 400 has always made me wonder about getting one, but from what I understand, everyone that has one LOVES it. So...you would recommend it? You've already sold me on the exhaust...that's a DAY ONE modification.
Had mine since May. My first bike. I love it. It’s been very easy to learn I’m. In 6 foot 220 pounds and it accelerated plenty fast. Tops out about 90, but you could push it a little higher if you needed.
@@michaelmcnulty8785 that is so crazy. I weigh only 145 maybe 150 lbs and in 4th gear at 11 grand I was at 93 mph..... I can't believe how much weight affects things like this.
Thanks for the video. gives me a bit more confidence buying a. Amazon special since they're the only ones who will ship to Cali because of CARB restrictions
You didnt show the hardest part! getting the mid pipe installed if it doesn't fit and all the other random pieces they threw in the bag (without instructions). I have no mechanic experience and i feel like i'll run into some issues there
If you start the bike outside with the stock exhaust you should still start it outside with the aftermarket one. I know you’re trying to make the other one sound better being in an enclosed area but come on.
Here in SA I'm struggling to get a midpipe adapter, got a cheap knockoff slipon but yeah the adapter will be an issue, might just outsource to an engineering company
