Honestly, Revlon and Conair have some great hair curlers that are much better. If you want a similar result to this then you can get the CHI spin n curl
Just some advice for those of you that already have a Dyson, just get the longer curling barrel. It makes all the difference. Even in the video you can see the shark’s barrel is longer, and that helps with your hair “gripping” onto it.
I get it, but at the same time if I'm paying 600 dollars to find out I need a longer barrel I'd be pissed (but I'm not the kind of person to buy one in the first place).
@@whyaretheredemonnoises3188 And I respect that. To each their own, but this was mainly advice for those who already own it. I believe Dyson recognized the problem and actually offer the choice to order the model with the long barrel instead of the short one for the new model though.

first off… THANK YOU SO SO MUCH! I can’t believe you wrote a whole essay about me! You are so sweet 🥰 I’m printing this out and pasting it on my wall ❤
What’s ironic is that the Shark is cheaper but gives a more professional and sleek style, while the more expensive Dyson gives a natural and brushed look. (Oh, hey - thanks for 1.3k !
@@sophisticated0511 Might wanna retract that statement being as it’s not known knowledge. “no shit” ; you probably didn’t even know until seeing the video. Calm your ass down, leaving negative comments for absolutely no reason is ridiculous & immature.
I would use Dyson because I prefer loose and more natural curls than defined curls like the Shark, but it does seem like Shark has better quality. I just like the result of Dyson better
But both of those curls will get looser throughout the day. I'd say the shark will look more like the Dyson side later on in the day where the Dyson one will fall out even more
@@milfs9862 no if you brush the shark side out it's a lot bigger and has 2 waves in it cause the curls are so big and the dyson one made it smaller so there's more curls
How can she litterally pull of anything? Like y'all, she could use ANYTHING on her hair and it would still look fabulous❤ Like gurl... Tell me your hair routine! Please! My dusty crusty hair could NEVER and i mean NEVER do that, *slay Wendy, just slay*
I would say the shark is good for tighter curls that make your hair look shorter. And the dison is good for long loose curls both do well it just depends on your personal preference. 😊
Girl that machine burns your hair like crazy! and it breaks within 1year so for $300 that breaks in one year and has 0 insurance and damages your hair honestly the dyson is worth it still
No I’ve heard multiple people say that the shark was not long lasting at all compared to the Dyson. I’m on day four Dyson curls and my hair still looks great. The only reason the curls are tighter on the shark is because the barrel is slightly thinner so of coarse the curls will be tighter.
i love both! Dyson is more suitable for a subtle curl, very beautiful but not too fancy and Shark is perfect for a sophisticated and bouncy curl for more special occasions
The Dyson gives you a more blow-out look, where the Shark gives you more tighter curl look. It's honestly just personal preference and brand preference 😊 Edit: Tysm for the likes this is the most I've ever gotten!!❤️❤️
I just feel that the Dyson one gives you soft curls and the Shark one is more edgy 💀 EDIT: Yo, when in the heckrooni did this comment get so many likes? Anyways, thanks y'all🙌🏻
@@skipper9907yes it has 3 heat settings so all you need to do is set it on the 1st or 2nd setting. Also compared to a standard curling iron, even on the highest heat setting the shark flexstyler it still is not as hot.
I have the shark nd can touch the barrel even right after use (it’s hot but like a plate out of the microwave hot), I cannot do that with a normal curling iron. So that isn’t true. But it may use more heat then the Dyson, I dont know that part
Wendy is so fun to watch, and I love all of her content! Not to mention she actually shares what products she uses, and she is so kind and positive! I love all of her videos, and I'm so happy that we get to see her content practically everyday! Not to mention she always looks beautiful, and almost always has an infectious smile on her face! Keep doing great Wendy & continue the amazing work! Thank you for being such a great youtuber, and I think we all are glad that you are on the platform! Thanks for reading
they both are good for different looks, the dyson is better if you want a more layered hair kinda look and the other is a more curly/straight layered look
in my opinion, (I have curly hair naturely but I like straighting it once in a while) Id pick dyson if I wanted looser curls and shark if I wanted something more fancy.
i think both are beautiful! but they both depend on the style you are going for ❤ for example, shark can be used if you are saving money, and if you want a more wavier look! dyson can be used if you just want steadier waves/less volume on your hair!!
I think the longer barrel of the shark is also an advantage. You can curl larger strands of hair instead of going for small so the hair firs around the barrel.
Honestly love the look of both definitely the shark was a tighter curl and the Dyson was a little more beachy but the price difference is gonna make me get a shark regardless
the shark keeps the curl better and makes your hair look more healthy edit: it also uses lower heat settings compared to the Dyson so there's less heat damage to your hair
I get it , it’s more powerful and everything BUT - the round brush is not as good AND MOST IMPORTANTLY - the dison doesn’t damage your hair nearly as much
TOTALLY Shark ,i have a dyson and it is a TOTAL waste of money becz when you curl your hair with it it just opens in like literally 10 minutes shark wins 😅😊🎉
She shark does work well, but with the newer version of the Dyson all you have to do to switch the airflow direction is a small switch while the shark still has you to change the barrel to switch the direction of the curl.
