How does this work with a grapple? I would need the lift and tilt functions to operate as well as the clamp functions of the grapple. Would this kit work for that application?
Just installed one on my 4530 to run my grapple was a rather easy install. I installed on the lift function seemed like the more natural position. My tractor is a 06 model and felt this was the best unit for me to avoid any electrical problems.I ran my hoses on top of the loader arm since i have a muffler that is close to the arm. Mounted the control valve next to the loader control for easy excess. Andrew was very prompt in answering a question I had about my purchase and my kit arrived in a few days. Yes - it'll work great. You have the choice of diverting fluid from the 3rd function or the loader circuit. You can choose how you want it setup. If you rarely use the grapple at the same time as whatever you want hooked to the remote, that's a great option. Or you can have it hooked to one of the loader functions. i just installed the kit on my BX23s. Works perfect, I didn't like the way the valve bolted to the curviture of the instrument panel, but by adding a short piece of 1/4 inch pipe on the top bolt cut on a slight angle and a longer bolt, it straightend the valve up and made a much more professional job. Yes, this works great on a 4025. You can run this kit off of one of your loader circuits or off of the 3rd function. Your choice. The switching valve mounts neatly on top of the flat shield over your loader valve. Simple install.

This kit will work well for you, and won't touch the backhoe hydraulics. The backhoe system received flow, but doesn't have a valve to control the remote function. This works great to run a grapple, and is an easy install on a 4550. You hav e a flat shield over the loader valve that is really handy for mounting this switching valve.
