Friend Does Q5 change automatic sound output? Example: I want to leave my speakers connected to RCA, but use In Ear on the 3.5mm input. The Fosi Audio k5 Pro passes the sound through both the speaker (RCA) and the In Ear (3.5mm), requiring the speaker to be turned off.

about your $700 2.0 desktop setup : fosi q5+ used $630 genelec 8020, would not a $700 2.1 system ( adding a sub) be a better overall sound experience ? something like used $450 adam a4v + $150 polk psw10 sub + any $100 desktop dac for the same total $700 price. mids would be only 90% as clean as the genelec but the added low end would be much more noticeable than the slight difference in mids, would it be not ?

oh absolutely..this was merely the best deal i could find at the time ..plus this gives me an upgrade path to a full genelec setup which..i had been coveting at the time :)

Becareful with iem’s some are good but hard to get a good fit, cable tangle too much, ???! Don’t spend a lot of cash right away, try the kz brands, you tube it

Nothing that dramatic lol. I also said it wasn't a match and would not outshine more capable dac/ amps. The whole point is that it's good enough whilst being super cheap and that you can divert your finances to the components that'll more likely make a difference at the budget end. I think that's a point worth making.

@@imwhatsnew yup i get your point mate, i'm just saying from the way you said it for me it's like the spartan scenario 🤣, back to demolishing return it's like a sound and no sound scenario, i'm agree higher one price don't mean it would automatically multiple the quality to price ratio ( forgive me to start mumbling to asgard realm ). i'm waiting for what u think about the xduoo bal headphone amps, stay healthy & God Bless us all mate 🙏

@@imwhatsnew any opinions on the Q4 because I can't find the Q5 in India it is pretty much currently unavailable everywhere edit:- K5 pro has a microphone input too and the q4 does not so I would that be a better buy (and is cheaper too)

Hmm.. I am really really sceptical when it comes to Fosi, because their products are always either good, according to reviews, or absolutely terrible. I had the opportunity to test and keep the Fosiaudio T3 and sold it later on, because it was absolutely terrible. I really hope their non tube products are not as subpar.

yeah I didn't go in expecting amazing things..and as mentioned ..quality isn't fantastic.. but it worked reliably, sounded decent and gave me an upgrade path. The bt30 they sent me was not good though.

@@imwhatsnew they really are a mixed bag from what I've experienced and heard. We need more unbiased opinions about how their products perform. There's a video about the T3 amp, specifically for measurements and it basically shows that it doesn't perform according to the specifications.

Oh I wouldn't necessarily believe the amp specs.. Apparently some are OK but most probably won't have the claimed output
