My mom bought one new in 1986. It was white with tee tops V8 305 and red interior. She took very good care of thaf car and nicknamed her White Angel..She kept the car until 2003. Her husband wrote the time got her another vehicle and made her trade it in. She always regretted that decision. She said later she wished she would have kept it in a storage building without him knowing it and drove it on the weekends when he was out of town. She would spend hours cleaning that car .There are so many stories to tell about that car bug I will share some. My mom went to college where my oldest nephew was attending to give him some meal tickets so he could eat in the lunchroom.His friends was admiring his grandmoms car and that she was cool. Another time my mom let me borrow the.car for a trip to gulf shores with my fiance for the weekend. We had a greet time. My Mom was a wonderful lady and lived life to the fullest. I'm sure she felt free when she would cruise in that Camero. My Mom passed away on Halloween 2018..i miss that car but most of all I miss my Mom!!

Owned 2 of these new. Loved both cars but I had bad luck with them. One got carjacked, the other stolen out of my drive and then torched by the thieves.

enginr bay deserve a cleaning my 180k miles 2.8 is cleaner. but overall nice car great driver good for long run and handle great. love the window tint and hatch spoiler. i own a 85 Sport Coupe 2.8 T5. im the 2nd owner.
