The 13 Hotel In Macau Costs Of $7 Million Per Room
Louis XIII Holdings Limited has christened its Macau hotel, “The 13”, the most luxurious hotel ever built with an estimated cost of $1.4 billion. It is also calculates up to $7 million per room. Located in the gambling hub of Cotai, Macau, in China, it is expected to open in late summer 2016 as one of the most expensive hotels ever built.
Boasting of Baroque inspiration and contemporary accents, The 13 Hotel includes 200 palatial multi-level villas, an invitation-only L’Atelier offering couture, bespoke and limited edition products from selected major luxury brands, and the only branch of L’Ambroisie, the legendary Paris institution of Michelin 3-star haute cuisine, along with five more restaurants and bars.
At the ultra-luxury hotel, the entry level villas, the split-level Villa du Comte spreads over a gross floor area of approximately 2,000 square feet. While 31 villas are even larger, the Villa de Stephen named after Stephen Hung, the Co-Chairman, is the largest at 30,000 square feet. It is reported to cost about $100,000 to stay at the largest villa at The 13.
Every Villa du Comte room includes a private elevator lobby and a spacious ornate marble Roman Bath that fits up to eight guests, This beauty is presented under a vaulted baroque ceiling supported by neo-classical columns and lit by a spectacular crystal chandelier.
When not in use, the Roman Bath is covered by a retractable marble floor. The base level accomodation also includes stained-glass and marble bathroom and a royal bedroom with a king-size, velvet-canopied bed with an elaborately carved and gilded Baroque headboard in the royal tradition. Everything from the elaborately detailed Baroque scrollwork, to the sculptures, to the fabrics, to the wall coverings, to the glittering series of faceted chrome furniture, to the tableware, to the Rolls-Royce Phantoms was created by Mr. Hung and The 13’s talented team of designers.
The hotel’s thirty custom-made Rolls-Royce Phantoms, the world’s largest such fleet, will provide guests with chauffeured limousine service and complimentary transfers on arrival and departure. Of the royal fleet, the first two “gold” Rolls-Royces are designed with external and internal gold-plated accents and diamond encrusted badges. Sporting Signature “Stephen Red” exterior paint infused with 24-K gold fleck, when ordered the two were the most expensive Phantoms ever commissioned.
