Did I leave something you would have picked up on this thrifting trip... and what was your favorite item in my haul? Thank you so much for watching, I can't wait to read your comments! Hugs oxo
I could be wrong, but I thought there was what looked like a Santa Clara blue Christmas commemorative plate at 5:35. Always enjoy your videos and I feel I learn so much. Some are like a mini art history lesson. God Bless.
I love everything you pick. I'm really learning what to look for and the reasons that you don't buy certain items. The thrift stores in my area are not the same economical status as the ones you visit but I still look critically at the items offered. Thank you for sharing.
After watching this episode I continued to watch all of your furry friends and hummingbirds and the fish that is the most relaxing part of your program I am a thrifter and I watch you because I enjoy the things you like and how you explain them but you know what Tiffany I think I like your whole program the most I love seeing Rio and bear and tonight listening to the calm music watching the fish tank almost put me to sleep anyway I love your site and I have subscribed. Keep up awesome work and good luck let's go thrifting
@@Katy32344 Mine as well. Tiffany's camera work is unequaled in my opinion. You can see everything on the shelves, even the things that she is not interested in
You must miss Your Vintage Booth 😢 We are all, I think, glad that you offer those pieces during your Haul 🎉 Your booth was inviting, I am glad you showed it to us.
Your explanation of each piece is so educational and appreciated. Ending each session with your fur babies, kitties, hummingbirds and aquarium is so delightful and relaxing. I eagerly look forward to each session. ❤️
I would have loved the little orange Ash tray ( trinket tray) that you left. it would have made a lovely splash of colour on a dressing table . Love watching you from the UK❤
My favorite were the brass floral pieces. Lovely! It was a nice surprise to see you go somewhere besides GW. I enjoy your videos and learn a lot, too. I look up a lot of the pieces you talk about and/or purchase. Half the fun is learning. I love your enthusiasm when you find just the right piece. 💌👋 from Missouri.
Hi Tiffany. I laughed at the Big Grandma Little Grand Ma. My great grandson has several Nanas due to re marriages in the family. So according to him, he has little nana,big nana. Nana rabbit, old nana and nana with two dogs. He worked this out when he was four. As usual Tiffany your video today is great. I loved the green frog. We see lots of them in summer. I also love the dragonfly dish. My favorite was the Polish dish. Val.🐨 💟
I just love these videos from the start to stop. It’s not just the Thrifting and the halls but the hummingbirds, the puppies, the fish it’s also relaxing and I absolutely adore your videos.😊
Hi Tiffany, Your videos are always so enjoyable, this one particularly so with your lovely pets and the hummingbirds, so thank you very much. Lesley, Victoria, BC. Canada.
Tiffany, one of the best tips I’ve gotten from you is to soak a cotton ball and then you can lay that on the price tag on the item you’re trying to remove it from and after a little while it’s softens up and you can peel it right off. Thank you!!!
Tiffany, great idea to include other items to your haul today. You are so blessed to have so many places your dogs can run free & play ball. Bear is so funny with as many balls he can fit in his mouth 😂. I love your Mum tribute. I bought the Fenton vase from you that you two are shinning the black light on. So I have a bit of you & your Mum in my home. ❤Susie
14:38 The platform is called a “bat.” It was used to stabilize the piece in the kiln. During firing, glaze on the bottom of the piece fused to the bat. This is a common problem in pottery classes. Usually these pieces go directly into the trash.
I bought 2of the plant water globes red and the other was same colour as you have just shown at the charity shops we have here in England. 99p each . And there really good . 😊
Loved the blue and white vase at 9:29. Also you passed by some vintage tins (middle of screen at 6:59) that I thought looked like 60’s “flower power” prints. 👍
Great hall! Love your videos and I have learned so much from you! Your shared knowledge has helped me know what to pick up and what to leave behind, thank you! Also, you have given me the courage to start my own youtube channel, filming my thrifting adventures! Filming these adventures is a learning process but I’m getting there 👍🏻❤
Happy Sunday Tiffany❤ It's Linda from Michigan. Great haul and of course all your fur babies. Savors must of had a party last night and the maid was not in yet to clean up the beer bottles!🎉Have a fantastic week, Linda.
I would think you could have made your $20 profit on the two black cats figurine at 5:12. It was so unique. It reminds me of the desired retro black panther ones.
Big grandma is a very southern term for grandmother, but it is usually big mama, but quite common particularly in the southern states. Another one from the southern states is Mamou which originates from the French or grandmother although I don’t know why
YOU have to get creative with that 🐓 you get some colored feathers and you put them at different links and either glue them or something to that effect to the top missing part it would be really cute. And so thereby making the missing part of the rooster top forgivable.😅
Gee Tiffany , Bear does sound like a bear 🐻. Looking for treats was he lol? There was a ceramic butterfly 🦋 on the shelf . It was pretty . But couldn’t tell what quality it was . Just a heads up : A Winners store here in Calgary is selling fake Murano glass 🌹 flowers . Thought I’d let everyone know😊. Beautiful items chosen as always .
: } ie : BIG ROUND WOOD BOWL. I HAD A FRiEND YRS AGO, & SHE POLiSHED UP OLD WOOD BOWLS, PUT A CLEAR OR COLORED GLASS BOWL IN AS A "LiNER". THEN SHE USED BIG "SINGLE" FISH HOOKS WITH A FEW UNiQUE BEADS STRUNG ON IT, TO HANG FROM THE EDGE OF A PLANT HOLDER. : }
Hi Linda! The frog sold, but I had so much interest in him that I am definitely on the lookout for more similar. Thank you so much for watching, I'm so happy that you're enjoying my channel! oxo
Technically, the Joan Baker glass sun catchers are not stained glass. There's no lead framing in there it is hand painted glass. I think it is so important if you are doing a tutorial video to get the terms, right?. But I love your videos.
TY TIFFANY. : } HERE'S A : I HAVE A HAND PAINTED/WROUGHT IRON BASED, SQUARE STAINED GLASS CANDLE HOLDER "PEEL" A BiT. I DEARLY LOVE IT SO I WENT TO THE DOLLAR STORE & BOUGHT SHADES OF NAIL ENAMAL & TOUCHED IT UP/SHADES IT & IT LOOKS FABULOUS. I Q~TIPPED A LiTTLE ALCOHOL ON THE SPOTS BEFORE DABBING ON THE NAIL POLiSH. IT'S JUST TO SAVE BEAUTiFUL "CREATIONS" I LOVE & CHERiSH. MAYBE OTHERS COULD TRY IT TOO, IF THEY HAVE SOMETHiNG SPECiAL WITH A TiNY CHiP, ETC. < LOVE, PEACE, PRAYERS & HUGS. < : }
Thanks for another fun video! Love getting to see all the goodies you find. It was unfortunate though to see how expensive Savers was…..far too high. Goodwill is much more reasonable. 💜🩷
I’ve been watching for over two so forward to your Thrifting. I really enjoy the top five items at the end of the Haul. I feel like I know bear, Rio, Ziggy and bandit very well. It’s obvious how well they are cared for. God bless you.
I think one of the most important things you teach is to keep an open mind and look at everything. I’ve found some pretty amazing finds by doing just that at our local goodwill. Our goodwill is very small, there are a total of 3 aisles that are maybe 15’ long. They include all the figurines, glassware, cups, plates, plastic, toys, candles, & cookware. There is one more aisle that has electronics, small appliances, lamps & art. As you can see, not a lot of merchandise. I like to go there on Mondays bc that is discount day for seniors. I hardly ever find anything that is the color of the week.
We use to have guppies the babies are so cute....I remember catching the tiny babies so the bigger fish wouldn't eat them and put them into another bowl until they grew up!!!!
My paternal grandmother was Sicilian, and only 4' 11", so we referred to her as Little Grandma, and my maternal grandmother as Big Grandma, even though she was only about 5'4"!! 😆
It seems that the thrift stores are raising thier prices quite a bit. I watch when you go to Savers and the prices seem to be twice that of Goodwill. However, lately the Goodwill is also raising their prices too. I saw some clothing items at Goodwill that have been marked almost what they can be purchased for new in the stores. So where do you go now to get items worth buying that you can make a profit on?
