Here in Singapore we have 6 shades (darkest roughly up to NC42). I've worn this cushion continuously for around 3 weeks and decided I can't live without it! This is the only product that has not disappoint me once since day 1; even when worn on horrible skin day. It gives you the most beautiful satin glow, lasts forever on my crazy oily skin with zero creasing and sliding and it fits the skin SO seamlessly it feels and looks just like your skin, but better. I can totally skip powdering my face because it actually helps my concealer to stay as well. I usually wear shade 21 for Korean cushion brands and I was matched to the lightest shade (10) for this. The case is hands down the most beautiful one I've ever seen (you can never go wrong with black and gold!) and is a total head turner when you touch up ;) Try pairing it with their Top Secrets Intense Moisture Glow! It's the BFF to this cushion! Makes it go on even smoother and really helps to increase its wear time :D
I think it entirely depends on you. If you sweat a lot or have very oily skin like mine and don't really mind looking dewy at the end of the day, then by all means go for it. Loose powder really helps when it's extra hot and humid..or just touch up again around the T zone and cheeks and you'll look fresh again! Still the longest wearing and staying cushion for me. Running out of it and definitely stocking up on refills! :D
+Pluto Pee Not sure what your skin type is, but for all rounders I'd highly recommend IOPE Air Cushion XP (The mother of all cushion foundations!) for starters. I loved it a lot but moved on to try other brands :D
I had a lot of doubts before about this cushion. But then I saw your review and it made me make up my kinda about it. My $88 was very much worth it and lives up to what it claims to be! Great review!

The thing I find with most cushion is that no matter what type it is (moisturizing type - for dry skin, long lasting type - for oily skin...) none of them really could fill in my pores. I saw someone do a close up demo on this YSL cushion and it instantly blurred out their pores instead of just sitting on top / around them, like magic!!

hi! Someone probably told you already, but in case : "encre de peau" means "skin ink" or "ink of skin" (I don't really know how to translate it I'm french), maybe they want to say that it's like ink on your skin as it doesn't change even after hours and hours.. btw thanks for the review! :)

My skin is not as fair as hers but I'm using 30 as well. It is a little fair for my skin but i guess it is pretty alright. 40 would have been too dark for my skin. For Singapore's weather, you might need to do a little touch up after a couple of hours. Face doesn't feel too oily after a whole day if you are not using oil base sunblock or moisturizer underneath it. It is smooth to glide on your face and coverage is pretty good. You can go with or without concealer. I like the mild dewy look it gives.

The coverage did hold well as you said but I think the shine that was produced on the t-zone did look a bit greasy, not really dewy but it can easily be fixed with a light dusting of powder. Great review though!
In Australia, we also have shade #35 which is perfect for yellow light-medium skin tones (NC20-25) and sometimes i use #40. I was so lucky i got this when they had a free refill special.
Indeed, it seems to be a very good cushion here! Except I will never spend this amount for it! Only if I can have it with a discount for sure! I don't know yet what would be the price here in France. I hope it will not be 75€!! It's like sheeting!! And strangely I was sure this was made in Korea, the Lancôme one who where the first cushion sold in France was made in Korea too, I'm sure they cannot do better than Korean in therm of Cushion and they know it! 😆 Encre de peau is word for word ink of skin btw! 😁
I know in France, cushion trend isn't really popular, a seller in Sephora also told me when Lancôme came with his cushion, that was the first in the French market, it didn't work at all. But I'm sure YSL will launch his cushion in France too, but as always, with lot of late. +pewpewnim

It is really expensive and I don't think it's got as much product as a bottle foundation. But YSL makes the best products in beauty let's all agree and the effect on the skin of this Le cushion endre de peau is flawless

Thanks for the review Liah! I Hv tried a sample of it in shade 30 but it oxidize too much on me (I m between shade 21 and 23, depends on which brand). I agree with u that it applies nicely on my combo dry skin and very light weighted! But it is not that long lasting in where I m (Hong Kong is very humid in spring! I have touch up in the evening!) so I'm still considering buying it or not..

저도 지성이고 여드름 자국이 있는 23호 피부에요. 출시되자마자 사서 사용하고 있는데 저한테도 너무너무 잘 맞네요😆 분명 촉촉한데 겉은 좀 매트하게 마무리되고 지속력도 짱짱!! 저도 이 제품이 안 좋길 바랬어요..... 리필 가격이 다른 쿠션 제품 사고도 남는 가격이라 ㅠㅠ.... 그래도 저한테 딱 맞는 쿠션을 찾아서 안고가야겠지요....😢 웃퍼요ㅎㅎㅎㅎ
This cushion looks sooooo good but the price is just... AND IT DOESN'T COME WITH A REFILL. If I'm not wrong it's about $80-$85 in Singapore, where I'm from. Cushions like IOPE and Hera's already got me crying for my wallet but this is on another level hahaha. Btw, just wondering if you've ever tried Espoir's Pro Tailor Liquid Foundation?

Considering cushions tend to run out quite quickly, would it be worth it in the long run considering the price tag? Would it be much more advisable and cost-efficient to buy normal cushion pacts like Laneige, IOPE, etc.?
How long does an average cushion foundation takes to use up? I have used Etude House, IOPE's cushion, and I will finish one cushion at approximately 1.5 months time with daily usage...
Hi Liah, Just wondering will this cushion look too matte on combination skin (I live in Australia and the weather here is quite dry especially winter is coming), I want a glowing look but not too oily on my forehead and Tzone areas.
