I just hooked up my Soundbar 900 and Bass Module 700 yesterday and I am telling you that Bose has really outdone themselves. This the best Soundbar/Woofer combo I have ever owned and used thus far.
Im here for the review, stayed for the dog 🤣 too funny. But in all seriousness, thanks for sharing this. I’m contemplating the idea of buying this system bar/module. I don’t watch movies to often but I want something really nice for when I do.
I really like this video I hope you’re still enjoying it what is the name of that song you played my wife really like that song however we can’t remember the name of it
Sir good morning. Good to see your video. But, I want to ask sir that bass module is there's any input for using microphone or we can connect the microphone on bass module sir or no?
Thank you for the set up instructions they were very helpful. I just got the sound bar base module and surround speakers set up last night and they sound great. I just can’t find my adapt IQ lol. Boss said they will send another one out to me so I’ll complete the calibration when it arrives.
Wow. That's better packaging than when I worked in Bose retail stores and dealt with the original Lifestyle systems and the original Lifestyle DVD based systems. AdaptiQ was introduced with the DVD based Lifestyle 18/28/35 systems. We had the opportunity to go to the corporate office in Framingham to experience the introduction and wow. AdaptiQ was amazing then as a consumer technology and it's still amazing.
@@cesarbautista8843 you can connect up to 2 wireless subwoofer, but they have to be the same model, 700/700 or 500/500 so pretty much you can do 2 wireless
I guess this is another reason why Bose don’t unnecessarily state the watt output because it’s not a true test to sound quality or levels. If you saw the Bose 700 package and looked at total output it would be 245watt. If people saw that they would think oh it’s rubbish, not bassy or loud enough.
The bass modules will get you evicted from where ever you live. The bass that comes from those modules are second to none and I have dual subs so I know what I am talking about.
My bose 700 bass module was MFG Oct 2020, ive had it for 2months this joker is cutting out and making popping noises, bose suggests i connect the sub to the soundbar with the wired jack, im seeing other people having this issue so i told them the 700sub is wireless but if i have to use the wired they're selling defective 700bass modules
Same exact issues. Popping, crackling, cutting out. Sending it back, reviews on Bose site are littered with complaints & nothing fixes it. The 500 has much better reviews so I will check it out. If that sucks then returning that w the new 900 sound-bar. Wonder is Sonos arc & sun perform better because I’m pretty disappointed in this Bose bass
@@davidheymann690 I had the same problem with my subs. The 900 is too close to your wi fi router. There needs to be a minimum of 3 feet between the soundbar and the router because their signals are interfering with each other and that's what causing the sound coming from your subs. I moved my router 3 feet away from my 900 and the noise stopped. Every now and then there is a trickle but over time I'm assuming it too will dissapate.
Just do one thing, turn on the adaptiq toggle ON...nd then play music without the sub...u won't get enough bass. Then switch turn adaptiq OFF then play just the sound bar again..base comes back.. I bought just the sound bar, the adaptiq brings the base way down...
Recently bought a soundbar 900 and bass module 500. Love the bar, but not the bass module 500. It sounds boomy and not very well defined. Also, there’s a noticeable drop off in sound between the bar and bass module. Returning the 500 and have a bass module 700 on the way. Hoping the bass is well defined and not boomy. Did you notice a difference in the definition of the bass between the module 500 and 700?
Hello yes I did I purchased mine back in 2019 and I definitely noticed a big difference I was in a one bedroom apartment until I purchase a townhome. My apartment square feet was 670 townhome is 1500 my neighbors who is down the street from my new home from me say they can definitely hear the bass when I’m playing my music and having a gathering at time they enjoy it they said it’s really clear crispy clear and the base is just right
I’m running my subwoofer via cable and I will tell u. It is the best bang for your buck. Yea the soundbar is amazing but if you want to be part of the movie and not just watching it. You need it. This combo is amazing. I’m not sure if he has a new updated review of it since then but this review did not do it justice.
If you are running hard wired, do you still need to connect it to the bose music app? I have my bass module connect to the bose music app and i am running a wire from my Bose Ultra to the Bose 700 Module...i just want to be sure the signal that the sub is getting is actually through the wire and not wireless.
Your TV.. go to motion clarity settings.. turn your judder reduction settings down. Youll lose the soap opera effect.. and movies scenes will look normal and not over processed. Just a tip any pro calibrator would tell you.
I like your videos, not crazy edited and gives a view like I'm doing the unboxing. I just got the 700 yesterday, with the jewel surrounds and soundbar 300, for a total of $200! My friend is filthy rich, and he did a garage sale. Lol
Upon connecting the bass module 700 to soundbar 900. What are the adjustments that will happen to the soundbar. Will the bass output from the bar reduced. or the system redirects all the lower frequency to the bass module so that the bar work less. Thanks
I have this running from a hard cable from the sub to my Bose Ultra, and also have it added to the Bose music app...did i do this correctly? Just want t9 make sure its using the signal from the cable and not wireless. Help
Make the settings that you are comfortable with. The music app allows much control for settings than the soundtouch app so you shouldn't have a problem making adjustments to suit your preference.
The Bose 900 is over the top powerful. If you want the best, the 900 is it. I have the bass on the 9 set a forty percent because any higher would be overkill.
Well I would encourage you to go to Best Buy and try the full packages out on both of them for yourself, for myself I chose the Bose sound bar 900 based module 700 and the Side speakers 700 it is amazing can’t compete with anything today I feel if you can get two 700 base modules it will blow you out this world
Thank you for this video. Makes it easier for me to go with just the soundbar since I live in an apartment and don't want my neighbors to hate me by adding a sub 😃
The Bass module helps the soundbar have better overall sound Bc it doesn’t have to worry about bass. It lets the module handle that. Just turn the Bass down on the module and enjoy overall great sound.
You have to get a least one module to get the full treatment. Just turn the volume on the module down to where you are comfortable with it. You would be doing yourself a great disservice by not getting a module.
Idk if it's just my sub or what but I'm really underwhelmed by this module. I can hear it but it's barely noticeable. I have the app setting boosted to 100 but its still pretty low. Anyone else having this issue or am I expecting too much from this?
I purchased the bose 900 soundbar the 700 surround speakers the 700sub,my sub says it was manufactured 10/20 dang i hope it work well with the 900 soundbar.
Recently bought the Soundbar 900 and bass module 500. The bar on its own sounds fantastic, but when adding the bass module, it’s not so great. The mid range on the bar diminished with the sub and they didn’t sound cohesive. I tried different locations for the module, running AdaptIQ with and without the module and the result was the same. My wife and kids said the same thing. I then ordered the bass module 700 and found the same thing. The bar alone sounded balanced and cohesive, but not with the bass module. We tried for days with different settings and locations but couldn’t get a cohesive sound unless we pushed the volume up beyond 50%. I ended up returning both bass modules to Bose. The sound of the module itself was impressive, tight, punchy and deep but the module and bar didn’t sound cohesive. Could be as simple as the room acoustics. We’re thrilled with the bar as a stand-alone though.
I’m really sorry to hear that because when you put the 900 and 700 together it sounds great however if you put both of those plus the 700 side speakers or 300 it’s awesome maybe you had a defective bass module I don’t really know but if you ever get a chance to get both of those two and have the whole 5.1 Sound system all I have to say it’s Bad boy time
Don’t know if you want to wait on those surrounds they are probably going to come out with some up firing atmos ones in the future they haven’t officially announced them but they probably will have them since thats kind of the standard now and being that they always use those surrounds on their lifestyle products. Who knows what they will call it then.
I love the way my dual modules look, especially with their glass top which gives them a touch of class and elegance. These modules are about the best looking subs on the market to me.
DO NOT buy the 700 Bass Module. It is garbage. I just bought it and it sucks. Constantly crackles and drops out. Read all the comments with lots of others with same issue. Returning it this week. JUNK!
The module connects to the soundbar via the soundbars Bluetooth, lots of possibilities that can be. Audio interference from other Bluetooth device. Try switch the HDMI cable as sometimes a corrupt cable signal is sent too the device.
Kau unboxing dan test xpayah banyak cakap terus bukak dan test subwoofer Klu review baru banyak cakap.kau nk cakap 1 jam pun kau punya pasallah Ni buang masa tengok kau byk ckp
