Your presentation is one if the most gracious of all the pickers that i watch. Your voice is soothing and your practice of stating something is priced too high for resale doesn't come off as judgemental as many others.
That Goodwill seems to get the best of donations in Las Vegas from what I’ve seen . Is it in an area where there’s pricier homes ? I have a Goodwill store here in Calgary that seems to get really nice items compared to their other stores . It’s in an area where most homes start at a $1,000,000.00 or more by a ritzy golf course . That vase that Sonny picked up , I would of as well . Love the colour combo is why . Didn’t even know it was signed until it was said .
THE LITTLE SPACEMAN YOU MENTIONED IS FROM THE 1986 EXPO IN VANCOUVER CANADA. IT USED TO BE THE MASCOT IN 1986. I REMEMBER I WAS A VOLUNTEER THERE AT THE EXPO. IT WAS A FAMOUS ROBOT AND BECAME LATER A HOUSEHOLD FIGURE AT THE EXPOS ORGANIZERS/OWNERS HOME . A SMALL BIT OF THE CANADIAN EXPO HISTORY. LOVE JOY PEACE AND HAPPINESS TO ALL.
The lovely wall plaques you found so made me wish my living room was in blues and pinks again. The pink flowers are carnations...so look forward to your thrifting videos and seeing everyone ❤ Linda
I was missing thrifting with you.. so I stopped by my local Salvation Army store to look for "treasures". I was amazed how much you have taught me about spotting quality items. I don't need anything and I don't sell, but I found myself saying oh Tiffany would like this..😊❤Linda
Lot's and lot's of beautiful glassware. My mon had that beautiful Jeanette bowl. I went to get it, but unfortunately, my dad remarried, and his wife chipped it. Made me very sad.
😅 you're not the only one that loves the green. I love those and the little squatty ones that are emerald green in different shapes and patterns I have one of all of them❤
I love your videos Tiffany. I’ve watched you for about 4 years and of all the other thrifting videos I’ve watched yours is the one I’ve stuck with. You are so kind, professional and as a reseller on eBay I’ve learned so much from you. I eagerly wait for Thursdays and Sundays to relax and thrift with you. ❤
Love the two Wall Plaques. I don't believe you mentioned your asking price for them. Perhaps I missed it. You found such lovely items, once again. Cathleen
I just found a similar small "black swung vase" thumbprint it was a deal too.Its just beautiful❤Also collect black glass in one room.Collect many different things.I love high end vintage glass anything...and also kitschy cuties mostly animals of all sorts.
The Asian octagonal 8-sided lacquer wood box with mother-of-pearl on the lid and bento-style sectional inserts is called a "tray of togetherness". It is used during celebrations to serve candies, dried fruit, nuts and other goodies to guests. I sold one without the lid for $25 so this should fetch approx. $50.
Great haul Tiffany! You always pick up unusual and interesting items and I enjoy learning about them, hoping I might be as lucky to find. Thanks so much!
Alright Jake! good form, nice kicks and jabs keep it going you're pretty good at it. Tiffany every child needs to learn this, so good on you and your husband look forward to see possibly more of his practices maybe one day a match? 😊
Pioneer Woman items have been sold in Walmart for years. I will say the stuff in her actual store were different than what is sold at Walmart. I took my mom one year for Mothers Day to the store and restaurant. There was lots of items to buy there all were to me anyway over priced. My mom was expecting Walmart prices. We didn't end up buying anything.
The box of asian items you looked at just after the oil and vinegar bottles may be Japanese obijime which is a chord that is tied on top of the obi. They are often hand woven and can be quite expensive when purchased new.
Always enjoy you're show since you stared. You have a GREAT EYE for picking! I've done same all my life. Supported My Family. I've had Antique Find! Now it's Jewellery and glass more! Thanks God for all you do!
Have you thought about shopping your own shelves? I love coffee cups if they are seasonal or unusual. Also teapots and platters. Thanks. I learn so much watching your hauls.
I collect ceramic pixies, fairy lamps, kewpies and a few other items. I also have a few wooden boxes that I started collecting with a few purchases from you, I call them my treasure chests.
Hi Tiffany 🌹🌞🌹Love all your finds. YAY Jake. Ziggy the inspector 😅 Love it. My hairy babies always sit and stink eye stare at me when it's time to go to bed. Love your babies❤❤❤ I think coffee mugs pick up when the weather cools some. And more are drinking coffee, tea and hot chocolate and apple cider. I drink ☕ year round❤
The reason mugs don't sell as well right now is that people don't drink as much hot coffee during the summer. They tend to drink iced or ice blended, frappecinos or sodas during hotter weather. 😁
In regards to the garlic keeper personalized Laurel. I have found that names on personalized items can quite often be removed by scrubbing with a plastic kitchen scrubber or some solvent like Goo Gone or Goof Off.
I can’t find one here in Ohio with reasonable prices either, they charge almost new prices !! I’ve stopped going to goodwill anymore they charge so much!
I'm fortunate to Shop at this GW & others around Vegas. They do have GREAT items due to the transient nature of people that move in & out of here. The one thing I do miss from my "Oklahoma GW" pricing is clothing, shoes, purses & the like. They had a SET price for shorts, shirts, etc.. Very rarely was any clothing or accessories priced individually or over about $5-$6 Barring that, GWs in VEGAS ARE AWESOME!🎉
Love your haul feature. Suggestion: the break between last shopping shot and the jump to the “Haul”. Seems abrupt….maybe something like, “Stay tuned for the Haul…etc Do love your channel and your sweet and informative descriptions 💕💕💕
Why do they put that tape and their stickers on the front of stuff? Do they not understand that that can ruin the product all stickers should be put on the back of everything
You can put a bit of clear epoxy on chips on glass to cover sharp edges. The green compote is priced too high, but it would work nicely in an Autumn table scape with some artificial cranberries and flowers.
I had a pink club, and sold it in a garage sale! Who knew? I did know it was Depression Glass, but I don’t collect pink…only clear. So, someone else is enjoying it…good for them!
I collect Romro Britto items; Lenox Nativity figures; Jim Short figures; AnnaLee dolls; and looking for Rae Dunn kitchen utensils holder. Another Great Video, Tiffany!
Hi Tiffany, Really enjoyed your video this morning. So cute that Ziggy loved the cat wrearh. I liked it too! It is always a special treat when I find a brand new video that you have posted! Thanks no you so much for sharing your life with us. It means a lot to us who don't get out much! 💖🙏💖😘🤗
You are such a kind and beautiful person. Love watching you thrift. You are the first person I watched on you tube and I look forward to all your videos.
There is a video on YT of those Mother of Pearl boxes being made. They are quite involved, it is worth looking up. I believe they are made in Korea. I have a few pieces of Amber Ware, not a collection, but one ginger jar from my Grannie, and 2 pieces I picked up. It is a nice touch stone to the past.
