@@yosox8 yeah $140 for a dinner like that is something that nearly anybody can enjoy during a business dinner, a romantic partner, or just a treat to yourself.
@@LittleDP05 caviar still kinda make sense since the beluga fish is hard to catch and has it's own flavor that other fish eggs doesn't has. But i agree with the gold, it's not healthy nor tasty
Ikr?! He was so entertaining and sweet! I also loved his sound effects and hand gestures. Normally the most expensive restaurant has the most calm and professional chefs, so he was the opposite of what I was expecting in a good way!
That's French passion for cuisine for you :) Also, for wine. We can talk about it for hours and never get sick of it. Because, what's better than food and alcohol, really ?
When Steven asks "I'm just trying to think of what 3 things come perfectly together?" and Adam steps into frame to point at the three of them with a knowing smirk. Ye boi, you are the perfect trio, i love you
Well...Adams have been in other buzzfeed videos too. Like a taste test, if i remember correctly. He talked more there than 3 seasons of worth it combined haha
I think he's one of the producers of the show. I know he's a foodie (I once googled him because he's so quiet and I was really curious to learn more about him).
Not to mention he gives very good insights on food and the way he speaks is just the speech of a very mature and experienced man. I love Keith, but he is just goofy.
lol! so true. and I love how Andrew's the 1 initiating the cheers now & not eating the food until Steven cheers with him. haha...their chemistry has turnout so beautifully
SoosUnknown - Living in Hawaii and having eaten at Chef Mavro's twice, I (and most of the people I know) unfortunately find it to be highly overpriced for what it is.
“It’s like Stardust. It seems crazy; but then once you experience it, it’s like it’s the only way it could have ever happened.” I love the way you guys describe things. Great episode.
This was an episode with chefs that LOVE the food that they make, in the environments that they make them in, and I felt that more than usual. They're all separate experiences that I think are equally worth their prices!
It’s incredibly refreshing when the most expensive one isn’t just “we put as much truffle, gold, and caviar as we could, and the actual food doesn’t matter” and is actually proper food
tbh not the best but he really seemed to take a lot of takes. He seemed kinda shaky at some times, but it looks like he really actually tried to edit it xD
1- $ Fresh ingredients and simple cooking to emphazise a product in its best natural way. 2- $$ Premium ingredients, great technical cooking skills to create texture and combinaison to original flavors. 3- $$$ All of the above - Forged cuisine through practice and gained know how to create a one time experience. This was the best Worth It episode ! Keep up
In modern Greek too. Μαύρη Θάλασσα (Mavri Thalassa) is the Black Sea (aka the Euxine Pontus), so Μαυροθαλασσίτης (Mavrothalassitis) is a man from the Black Sea area.
This was absolutely delightful, from begging to end. Each meal was made with class and such extensive passion. All chiefs looked extremely dedicated to their visions and it easily showed in their cuisine.
I’m in Hawaii right now. I just got back from Leonard’s and Ahi Assassins. I got a large poke bowl. Which is $16. It comes with rice and 12 oz of poke. You can pick up to 3 different kinds of poke. I got what Steven and Andrew got, the Lunatic and the Hawaiian style. I also got the Pake. It was all really good. It was worth it.
My favorite chefs on this show include: Kichi kichi The French chef from this episode Mario betali Fried chicken caviar The first BBQ ribs guy that watched the show The First Lady on the macaroni episode The First Lady on the sandwich episode The guy from the salmon episode that made the fish talk The emerald city fish and chips guy Am I missing anyone?
It kinda feels like the enthusiasm for the show has switched. Andrew seems to talk a lot more and even throws out the facts and Steven remains more nonchalant about the food up until they have to show how much they like it. Quite the contrast to Andrew being the one like ok calm down when Steven was really enthusiastic about the food.
T.Belivet-Aird I don't mind a change of pace but the total switch is a little depressing. Makes it seem like one has lost interest and an inevitable departure from the series is due.
dude their videos are so much fun n relaxing to watch, the choice of topics/foods/subjects are so good too. This is really good keep it up you 3 (Adam counts too right?)
Karlos Losintos you do realize that the pet name/term of endearment version is usually spelled that way? Honey is the food and when referring to people it's usually spelled hunny tho sometimes yeah they do spell it the same way as the food. So please stop correcting people when you don't even know yourself ..
I was born and raised in Hawaii and they way you guys filmed this is way better than anything I've seen. you got everything right to the places and feeling of aloha we have in Hawai'i. Usually i cringe so hard when I watch videos about my home but this had me smiling the whole time you guys really did your research.
These guys were a little awkward around eachother in the beginning, and now 3 seasons forward they've come so close. It's lovely to watch, the food is secondary :p Bit like Top Gear not really being about cars.
The difference between Adam now and Adam at the beginning is great, he's till quiet but he seems more comfortable and silly. You can tell they've all gotten closer and it's great
Andrew - "Could you give us a little snapshot of what's in that sauce?" Erika - "If I tell you, I gotta kill you, man." **laughs maniacally** Everyone else - **nervous laughter...**
First fried chicken episode: Andrew: "it's like hot honey.....that's what they called me in high school" This episode: Andrew: "local honey.....that's what they called me in high school" Lmao we all wish Andrew we all wish 😂🍯❤
I love (having watched this from day one) how much Steven has seemed to have matured being around Andrew and how much Andrew has loosened up being around Steven. Your twos dynamic with the added somehow silly yet stoic adam make this show.
Local honey is what they called me in high school * flashback to fried chicken worth it video* HOT HONEY IS WHAT THEY CALLED ME IN HIGH SCHOOL Andrew said the same thing
