I made a dress with an embroidered border print. I fussy cut my covered buttons so they blended from the solid into the border. I get more compliments on that dress. It is a Mcalls pattern similar to the Zimmerman dress or Cult Gaia dress, except mine was sleeveless. I plan to make another one as I really like the dress.

Excellent video! I recognized this pattern as a Zimmerman look alike when it was released and immediately picked it up when on sale at JoAnn’s for $5.99. I found a double border print in cotton sateen at Mood that is similar to the cover. You’ve inspired me to get moving on making this gorgeous dress.
