I hate that people say “scrim was better not being sober” you’re not a real fan unless you support artists decisions to get clean. Mad respect scrim, keep doing you. Love you.
@@Andf-kc4xx 😂 nah man, I’m 16. I have ex addicts and current addicts on both sides of my family and I’ve seen how much it fucks you up. I know how hard it is too get clean in a culture that heavily forces drugs and alcohol on you. Scrim is strong af for getting clean. Proud of him, he deserves to be happy.
@@sassypwny that’s fucked up youre that young and have had to deal with all of that. Realistically, you and anyone else in your situation deserve way better. Adults have ultimately failed children and youth the world over.
@@sassypwny you have a good head on your shoulders, I sincerely hope that you can soar and reach whatever dream it is you have in this life, and help out your fellow people. Much love, stay positive🙏
@@Andf-kc4xx thanks man, everyone deserves to be happy in this life. I try to keep myself steady and not fall into bad habits and I’ve developed good coping skills. I don’t want that shit to follow me if this is my only chance I get to do it right. Drugs and shit will only hold me back.
Y’all saying old scrim, new scrim, he’s always been and will be scrim, it seems he is just handling life better, mentally, and that’s a beautiful thing man
Scrim changes his mind . He's sober for 2 years and its so cool to relate that he evolving himself and still doing amazing music . + Solo project . Now Scrim leveeelled uuupp
@@mingus445_gaming they used to be pretty anti christ, and I believe that all kinda changed when they started to get sober, if I remember correctly, they found God around then
@chaseellenberger7483 that's what AA does man. I've struggled with alcohol for years and finally I decided to quit drinking and started attending AA meetings. It helped me mentally and spiritually.
Suicide Boys are so diverse. They are untouchable in my opinion. They’ve gad so many eras of sound and style and theyve killed every fuckin time. Been a fan for almost 5 years now... the growth and range is unbelieveable.
Been a music producer for 17 years and I whole-heartedly agree. Even from a composition standpoint, their vocals and beats compliment each other - their vocals are rhythm based and meld well into the backing track. Their songs have no chorus even though it sounds like you're about to hear a chorus coming around the corner. They purposely enunciate their words in the right spots to keep the listener's interest. A lot of modern artists use the beat as a backing track to help give their vocals pinache but SuicideBoys' beats and vocals are one. Definitely one of my favourite artists from this era of music.
I don't give a fuck whether an artist is on drugs or not, I'm here for the music and the only thing holding me back from loving suicide boys 100% was scrim and his unintelligible drug noises. This is my all-time favorite suicide boys song, the beat is good, the lyrics are good, and I can actually understand what everyone sayin. If this is what he sounds like off of drugs, I could support this 100% because God knows these motherfuckers are talented, and it's so interesting to watch them evolve...
@Gmail User it really is, i used to listen to only rap with "message" but then i discovered $b, they are something else, they are the shit, and their succes confirm this, also they are so raw it fucking heals you when ur down bad and calms you, thanks to my ex for leaving a hole in my soul to find them, shesh
They really are unique but if you listen to the boy$ for a while it sounds like a lot of upcoming underground rappers are influenced by them which is cool
I've heard this track a thousand times and i never noticed Ruby doin the "vroom vroom" after push to start the 911 lmfao!! His lyrics literally roll off of his tongue like nothin. Dude can harmonize like a mfr "you want problems? I gotta bunch ain't nothin changed except the chunk" and never ceases to amaze me. I grew up with threesix and they were and always will be one of the few reasons i even started listening to rap as i love thrash, groove, and sludge metal to my core but $B are the reason i STILL listen. I love triplesix and yeah $B used alot of their stuff but I'm annoyed at the ppl who say $B are just threesix ripoffs. They're their own thing imo and they are SO talented from the first album to this one. They make me laugh & cry, hate & love.
You can't call $SuicideBoys$ "unique" when their entire style is centered around underground 90s Memphis hip hop Props to them for bringing that sound back and introducing legends like MC Mack to new audiences and making sure they get paid but give credit to the originators
Just discovered these guys, I'm older than your average rap fan, & I can honestly say these guys are no joke, they remind me of bone thugs, I live in central FL & I see they're going to be in Tampa, I'd love to go but I'd feel weird because I figure I'd be the oldest guy out there lol
Scrim has been clean since 2 years. Proud of the man Holy shi damn thxs for the like G's. I was reading the replies n hopefully yalll stay safe out here its gettin ruff each day for someone else. Stay on ur grind, may not be easy but sometimes the worst happens before the good..
Ruby gave me chills with his flow and tonality on this one. Nothing short of genius how he manipulates his voice and words to paint insane pictures in my brain. The dude is THE MOST underrated artist of our time.
@@larsmorgan8248 there was only one for I want to die in New Orleans, which I’m glad, experiencing that album for the first time all the way through was a religious experience, Fucking love that album!
Been listening since I was 11... I'm now 17 and this shit still hits as if it was the first time I heard that sweet rasp of scrim and the lovely vocals of ruby... always will be a big part of my life. #FTP #$uicideclique
It’s crazy growing up with these guys, relating to all the drugs they took along the road and getting off of them with them. They have come a long way and they still don’t disappoint. Excited for whatever comes next. Miss old times but looking forward to the future
this is everything that went right with gray/grey, eternal grey and SSATS combined, all with that degree of freshness I'm always hungry for in a new $B song. Fucking phenomenal.
bro we literally got a tape valentines 2020, then a $crim album a few months later. stop acting like they NEVER drop ANYTHING. they’ll drop when they’re ready.
@@strike.smother.dehumanize5318 that was my exact thought reading this, we literally just got new profile pic as well. People need to stop complaining. You want a bunch of shit or u want a few quality songs?
During my deepest dive into hell without death I discover these boys that leveled me out and kept me living. Between these boys and comedy I had my reasons to survive.... thanks.
