Hi welcome to my £10 Bangkok To Siem Reap By Land Crossing Infamous Poipet Border. Today i head to Cambodia by the most budget friendly cost possible. The Poipet border has many nightmare stories i've read so we will see how it goes.
I start off at Bangkok's main train station Hua Lamphong back on the 49 Baht 3rd class for six hours to Ban Khlong Luek Border Town to cross the infamous Poipet Border in to Cambodia. From there a three hour drive to Siem Reap for $10.

Yes it was very good mate, on the 12 hour trip I had people laying at my feet and it was far to cramped. It made it impossible to relax.

Enjoy your travels and exploration of Asia! It looks like there was some camera shake and focus hunting in the beginning (see if you can do firmware update), but it's super clear inside the train. Thanks for sharing your experience!

As far as I know yes, I haven’t seen any other options in the train.

I didn't know that mate, it was just uncanny how where ever you was he was even to the point that I had to look back on the train journey because he had a different cap on, ha ha ha,top man mate, at one point I thought you had a stalker, if I'd have seen him in bar in drinking street behind you I'd of headed you up buddy

Hi mate, I’ve never been in the opposite direction but there’s hundreds of tour operators in Siem Reap I’m sure you’ll have no problem getting a $10 ticket

Do you know that a man in a white t shirt has been following you all the time ? I am 71 and lived in Thailand the past 20 plus years but also in Sa Kaeo province ,the 'county' you passed through getting to Aranyaprathet on the border . As yet I've not bothered to cross over the border though regularly visit 'Aran' every 90 days for the visa report . Thailand is fun ,safe and cheap and I'm sure Cambodia the same ,have a good time .

You're certainly ADVENTUROUS. Using Thailand as my base, I dream about making such a journey (while on Vacation). BUT....I am afraid, that I may not be allowed back into Thailand, to catch my return flight. Why be afraid? Because.......I lost a lot of money when I had to cancel my Japan and Korea trip in early 2020 (due to THAT INCIDENT).

No I bypassed the people wanting to fill in the forms etc for me. Do have $30 though as the exchange rate they give you is really bad.

I always get a new no mate, I ask wherever I buy it from to install it for me. Makes sense they know how to do it in minutes where to translate would take us a lot longer. Ask them to write the No down for you👍🏻

Try villa Manda in Siem real great hotel very cheap. Sweet staff, bar, beach, food, pool table real all in one. I stayed there for a year recently good place to meet other travellers and cambodians. say Chris promised you a good discount 😉

I’ll have to watch it back mate, I use a go pro hero 11 it’s a really good camera that I’ve used for over 100 vlogs and nobody has mentioned anything. Thanks

Hi mate, I’ve just watched that back. Go pros are brilliant apart from in the dark and with bright lights. That’s what makes it look shaky, it’s only the 1st 1-2 mins.
