The alert viewer will notice all that Nick does for us even before offering 'the complete tour'. Batteries and all lights on, then sorting out how to 'get' at each of the areas, and then digesting the best way to proceed with the tour. And all that before we see the first image and the occasional struggle to tour, one-handed. Again, thank you Nick.
You can tell that this boat has been well cared for or even loved. It’s in amazing mostly original condition. The style and configuration works nicely. I don’t think this beauty will sit on the shelf long.
Windy definitely made great boats to last 24 years old and still looks lovely really decent lower deck as well two nice cabins and a lovely lounge/galley. Thanks for the tour Nick
You wouldn’t think it was as old as it is, it’s really aged well, a testament to the quality, I always like your tours of the Windy’s they really are lovely. Ps don’t think anyone noticed the mistakes, think you got away with them, no need for editing 🫣
Thanks for the trip down memory lane, I worked for Mustang in Australia in the early 2000s and this looks exactly like they did. Even better to compare with the advances in modern design.
Another very capable pre- 21st century boat that is wearing well for it's age nick, a perfect weekender or small family cruiser that has everything one needs for getting about on the water. Top marks for versatility nick!
That is a lovely yacht, some of the seating looked a little tired but overall it is in great condition and the engines looked like new. Great layout below decks and good use of space. A most enjoyable tour Nick thank you.
This is what I really like, straightforward good design. Decent comfort in a compact package and none of the "clever" bits that end up becoming shortcuts because modern boats want to offer the experience of something that could only be found on a bigger boat.
The same thing is happening with newer cars, imo. Trying to cram as much as possible in, even where it doesn't make sense, adds very little to the experience and means shortcuts have been taken.
If you are happy to overlook the slightly dated bathroom and take what’s always a bit of a gamble on almost 25 year old motors this is one hell of a nice boat. Hopefully the new owner will get years of fun service from her.
Hard tops are the way to go in the UK with all our rain! Fairey did a few hard tops as did Triana although a better description is probably pilot house as they weren’t very long…..love that Windy!
Nice little boat.. but at my age it is more about how slow a boat will go.. I am more into fishing then hot rodding around.. though that is fun too.. Well done!
Technically it’s the third decade of the 21st century. 2000-2010. Being the first decade 2010-2020 the second. We are in the third decade of the 21st century. Geez, I feel old now I’ve pointed that out, nope you were correct, ignore me.
Considering its age this boat as been well looked after and I imagine as had very little use. Very nice layout for a sport boat and the stowage for infill cushions is an excellent idea as they always seem to get in the way. As for the lounge they don't come much nicer unless your are spending well into more than 6 figures
Windy have always made quality vessels but the quality of all the big manufacturers in the 90s/00s is unrivalled and it shows to this day. These are solid and so well built. A lot of these era boats look in far better condition than their 2010s counterparts.
Very well done Nick.. Might I say... As always! Really impressed by this little fella. Everything throughout is very getattable. Another great detailed tour by Aquaholic!! 😃
Hi Nick, And thank you for this nice show of this Windy 37 Grand Mistral that is a good one a nice sportsboat from that error I like those curved windows but also the rond lines of the boat that you not see every day on a more modern boat Thanks again Nick a great show to start the week with
What a cracking 37 footer. So well looked after. I would be more than happy to be pilot this little girl across the water. really like the layout. It just works perfectly for your needs. Thank you so much Nick for bringing this one for our viewing pleasure
Windy seem to be at a level of quality in which you can use them for decades and they will still maintain the rigidity. This is no different and I love the woodwork as I always do on these yachts! Lovely tour thanks Nick!
Love that you don’t “edit out” your errors. I find most boat review video are terribly lifeless; however, your personality is such a breath of fresh air!
I know people don't normally live aboard these little power yachts laid out as this one but I think it would make an excellent live aboard. Add in a lithium setup with inverters, a small geni to keep the batteries topped off when not running the engines, some 12/24v coolers for that little bit of extra cold storage, as well some of the new AC tech for boats/rvs that is out there now and I'd be set. She get's decent fuel millage so my only concern would be getting her to somewhere like Florida, or anywhere on the East Coast really, as a good jumping off point. I think she'd be an excellent platform for the intercoastal loops or even a jaunt down to the islands. So not all that expensive when you consider the live-aboard aspect and what you could do with her...
Hey Nick there is nothing better for Tuesday blues than one of your videos and it even went a little "ooh matron" with the windy on a Windy and "who doesn't like big drawers" but that's exactly what we love about your videos they are informative and entertaining. Have a great day bud
This is why you do the best yacht tour's had me smiling and interested at the same time love this windy and at a "almost" gettatable price 😉 BTW did you have some of marianne's sherry trifle that morning ? Lol
Wow love that boat, the galleys great, great carpentry. Could really spend some time away on her. @13:40 that engine hatch lifting up is like a scene out of Thunderbirds..
Another beautiful boat. Keep showing me. I'm closer and closer to getting mine. These tours have been awesome for me to show boats in all different price ranges and all different kinds of options. You have been extremely helpful with these videos. Helping me look for exactly what I need and want. Your the best. Keep these videos coming. Huge fan my friend. Mahalo Nick.
The shape they keep these older boats is a testament to the quality of how they were built. She's an amazing home away from home. The holiday to be spent on her would be heavily. Thank you Nick.
Greetings Nick What a lovely little boat. It’s got everything there and then some. Somebody looked after this boat. A couple could spend a week easily and even have. A few friends stay over. Thanks for a great tour. There are not a lot of Windys hear around the Great Lakes. Cheers
How nice to see this one pop up as I have had it on my list for while. This, the Sunseeker 35 Portofino or the Fairline Targa 38. All nice boats indeed, just different offerings with what you like the most. I like the HT on this one though! :)
Great boat all round, but really impressed with the saloon & galley area down below on this one. Feels very spacious for this size and style of boat. Thanks Nick, always enjoy seeing there’s a new video up.
That’s not a bad looking boat Nick & plenty of room to add your own stamp with furnishings etc. Nice to see nav upgrades done already… like the interior & despite age still looking good. Quite taken with this one! 😃
Nice boat, reasonably affordable. It looks very good, especially considering the price. I love how it has dedicated storage for the infills. Big thanks for the tour!
