Great vlog Jamie just catching up with your recent content, Carr Mill looks like a nice venue, you fished a tidy match, thanks for sharing, hope you qualify soon
Looked like you fished a grate match mate should be happy with that considering the conditions and how it fished as whole, as always a cracking vid looking forward to the next one mate. Hope all is well!
Nice video on my local bream water, cheers. Very moody lake is Carr Mill, and those shallower pegs down by the Arches seem to produce the better numbers of fish in the summer months.
Good film Jamie, I’ve fished the Dam for over 50 years and like someone else said it can be moody. I actually fished peg 6 on the Tuesday before your match and struggled for 13 skimmers. What no one else has said is that the Dam normally has a slump in catches in late June and early July and it wasn’t that unusual to cancel all matches for a few weeks. That said, since the restocking with Bream and a few carp a few years ago, it hasn’t been as bad. When the Kamasan final was on the Dam years ago, it was around this time of year, pegs 7, 8,9 and 10. Were drawn by Mark Harris, John Bradshaw, Tommy Pickering and Alan Scotthorne, who I believe didn’t have a single bite between them. I think that was when Paul Boothby won it from a peg on the roadside( 97 to 122) and a young Andy May framed with a net of small fish from near the Arches. Anyway thank you for the film, it’s interesting to see how someone who rarely fishes the Dam sees the place.👍🤓
Great video Jamie I pleasure fish Carr Mill quite regular on the pegs next to the boathouse triple dead reds have been catching me some nice bream up to 5lb at 45 metres. Keep up the good work bud 👍
Great video as always thank you Jamie, and less, or even no, music during the match, which I must say is a personal preference if I’m honest. Thanks again mate, keep trying you will qualify bud.
Thanks for watching mate and thanks for the honest feed back. To be honest I'd prefer no music in most videos but sometimes, as it's rather slow feeder fishing, I sometimes need to add it but def taken on-board thank you mate :)
CATCH Fishing Channel no I perfectly understand that mate and you can’t please everyone that’s for sure, it’s just my preference I think and I know you like to know what we think. Thank you so much for taking the very limited time you have to reply, it is very appreciated. Let me know when you are my way again fishing the yare or wensum ( Norwich ) I would love to meet you, and you can put my ugly face to the msgs lol. Cheers Jamie.
Had a great time at patshull park Wolverhampton Sunday with Jamie Harrison and spent whole day talking to Jamie’s father.sorry guys can’t tell you the results you just have to watch his next video. Lol😁 glad I went. Would definitely go and see him and his father ( coach). Good luck Jamie.

Hi Karl, I've sent you 2 emails to let you know that the original order was delayed with DPD so I've now sent you 2 x casting mats. I haven't received a reply to the emails so maybe you haven't received them. I'll email you a status update but if there isn't any news on the deliver I'll refund your money this evening. Sorry for the delay but I know sometimes international deliveries have problems. Jamie
20m line was correct but should have feed worm and dead reds and ringers dark, frequent casts even without bites, 50m line is too far in summer on the dam. 3, 4 and 5 shallow pegs short chuck then 6,7 and 8. Chuck 35 m feed worm or method 6mm hard pellet. To be fair you were never going to compete with the bay pegs (1-5) flyers for small skimmers and odd bream. Still, a respectable weight from peg 10 its not framed for ages and that bank doesn't get fished as it used too.
Great feedback thank you mate! I think your right mate now in hindsight but I still reckon there was 20lb there with the right approach. Do you fish it much mate?
@@CatchFishingChannel yes week on sunday 120 pegger be a lot of bad pegs in lol but bream might switch on so sunnies will be fav but 5,6,7,8,10 and 11 could chuck a bream weight up plus 160 to 156.
