That was absolutely wonderful Nick. One of the Many things I Love about Aquaholic... You take us through small to extremely massive boats. Your channel is, and always will be, the best of the best. I believe that's the shortest tour that you have ever given. And yet, you bring it to us in such a professional and detailed manner. Thanks Nick!
@@AQUAHOLIC It is rare, but there are some boots that I don't much care for because of the style or layout... But I do thoroughly enjoy every tour that you give.
Quite love that interior! The windows and light colors lend a great sense of airiness to what can sometimes be a dark corner of these little boats. Love it!
I really like these boats, great usable space and performance for day trips and the odd night on board. Am I getting old though, because I'm sure that's an £80k boat not a £150k one! Scary to think that's considered affordable. I remember "back in the day" when £140k bought you a very nice twin KAD43-equipped Targa 34 with some of the extra wood trim. Doesn't feel that long ago!
A proper "Runabout" class boat. Loads of fun in the Summer sun. With even more joy as a dockside hang out when foul weather dictates. A solid, basic boat - designed to be enjoyed. Thanks for the tour, Nick.
Nice small cruiser. I tried to convince Sea Ray back in 2010 to build this boat. They somewhat listened and built the Venture. They were so hung up on covering the outboard to disguise it as a conventional looking inboard boat with full transom. If only they would have listened to me back then! lol Thanks for the walk through Nick.
Not necessarily, I doubt the extra bed is all the way back. My boat is a similar size, got an inboard and the rear bed is for sure just as large, if not larger.
Great video as ever Nick, Smugglers is looking great enjoy the super upgrades ! Looking forward to seeing the dinghy in action for a run ashore on the next smugglers outing 😎
I’ve got a Parker 800 Weekend. Very similar hull but with a fully enclosed wheel house. Cracking boat for a small family. Very well built and nicely equipped. We call it the floating caravan! Although, it does go nice and quick if you want to with the 350 Verado on the back!😂
Nick, Just want to thank you for your passion it bleeds through the videos. I am a big believer in affirmations, visualization and manifestation. Your videos allow me to visualize and affirm having my own family yacht one day. Maybe one day I will have you do a tour of mine. Please keep these simple affordable yachts coming. Blessings to you
Thanks for the video, Superyachts are very nice and a great escape from reality but these type of small family boats are great. Whenever i'm in Torquay looking over the harbour these smaller family boats are all i look at. One day.
Nice boat, it looks versatile but with comfortable seating. The accommodations are two bedrooms and a bathroom plain simple as Nick says. But it does what it says. Great.
Thank you Nick. Will look for Parker at the upcoming West Palm Beach Boat Show in March. Yep not in the super yacht snack bracket. Love the “Full Tour” of an affordable day boat.
Very good looking little but luxurious day/weekend boat. Fantastic for small groups, like a couple or a small family. Great work as usual Nick. You're fantastic at this sir. Well done you legend man.
Thanks for this review Nick. A great reminder as to why we ordered the 850. Looking forward to delivery in a few weeks and will likely see you out on the River Dart very soon.
Our 850 was delivered last March after ordering it at the 2021 Southampton Boat Show and we absolutely love it. You’ll have fantastic days out on yours. Any questions, feel free to contact us.
Thank you Garry. Much appreciated. We placed our order in September 2021 too, after the boat show, so it has been a long wait. Mainly engine delays. We were offered alternatives but patiently waited for the one we selected.
@@davidbeavan5502 same here… ordered Sept 21 and arrived March 22. We waited for the Mercury 300 V8 Verado and SO glad we did. As I’m writing this, I’m hoping you thought the same 😂 but there are no bad ones 👍 Any questions at all, feel free to ask.
I do appreciate you showing these particular boats, so excellent they are! Also, I do wish you'd do a tour of an MJM 53z/zi live-aboard, 43z, or even a 35z day boat... each are such an excellent MY as well... know this: I would have never come to the conclusion that an MJM was an excellent boat w/o watching all your videos over the years... you've fine-tuned the check-list of what is necessary imho for an owner operated boat! thank you for that!! This channel content is SO exceptional in every way for learning... thank you!! for all your efforts!! 👍💯
I like your manner and style of walk through's no matter the size of boat but much prefer this realistic end of the market more. Please please please do a bunch of the midrange sunray series as iv watched other channels do them with very little success. Great work Nick
Awesome! The super yachts are totally amazing...but seeing these more attainable boats as well is so cool. I might actually be able to get one of these one day haha
Great little boat for having fun on the water. Brilliant work as normal Mr Burnham 👍 I do like the Parker boat range. Plenty to like and not too much money (comparatively!).
😂😂😂hahaha,I was really worried there Nick! I thought it was a GALEON incident again but with the hob 😂😂😂😂 Definitely would’ve had to EDIT That out later😂😂😂😂
Love the seating arrangement up top. Really social. The only thing that puts me off of boats like these is the canopies! I'd have a hard top cruiser, and hopefully more people follow Marex in their solution...
Lovely basic boat, with 'everything you need, and nothing you don't' as a certain motoring presenter says. I love this end of the market, much more relatable than the multimillion £ superyachts.
That's like ⅓ the price of a lesser equipped Boston Whaler with 2 berthing spots as well. Pretty nice boat and you could probably fit it on a trailer too. Well at least here in the US
DJ Nick. Hilarious. These are a great little boat and if I was 20 years younger... I'd like one. It really has nice lines this boat and there's a lot to like and I really think you didn't quite do it justice. It could, however, do with a decent bbq and some big cool boxes that drain overboard.... Parker should also consider a T top option.... very pretty boat though.
We love our 850 Voyager so that was nice to watch, Nick. It really gives us everything we need and more. TBH, as we live 10 minutes from our marina, we’ll probably never sleep on it but nice to have the space. Quality of fittings is superb, especially for the price. Performance is impressive, we were touching 45 knots last summer on mirror calm water in Poole Bay. Great fun.
@@AQUAHOLIC Nick, what do you know about Visicover marine insurance? Just had a quote for our Parker 850 and it’s come in at just over £350 which is almost half our N&G renewal of c£600. Any thoughts or comments? I’ve checked absolute like-for-like and same excess.
@@AQUAHOLIC their quote is coming in at least 50% less than other insurers inc N&G. Consensus is that it’s because they are online only and you specify exactly what you do and don’t need cover for. For example, you actually ‘draw’ your cruising area! Mine, from Poole, will be no further west than Lulworth and no further east than Lymington, with occasionals to the IOW. £362 pa for our Parker 850 with only 2yrs NCD. That’s great!
