Did you remember to drive down the stairs or did you take a free fall. Again a lovely motorhome with great design and practical solutions. The double-hinged refrigerator amazes me every time, just like the TV mount that can rotate. Thanks for a great video Nick.
Hey Nick another great looking motorhome with all the bells and whistles, the layouts of these new vehicles are so clever I'm amazed that they are not utilised in new house builds for example the mods you have fitted in your home, I guess you are a trend setter and we will have to wait for everyone else to cop on. Have a great weekend bud 👍
Beautiful motorhome, the outside "dirty" storage next to the water management system might actually be intended to store the sewage drainage hose, or as they called it over the big salty puddle "stinky slinky" 😀
Another thought in motorhomes like this one. It'd be great if actually all drawers were centrally-locked. The drawers under the rear bed can fling open under hard braking. Just a thought.
The vehicle being the length it is, it should have a reversing camera. And the TV, if it has to be where it is, I'd certainly want to have a protective door or cover over it.
A couple of Yankee terms to share - If only one of the two axels in back is driven the chassis is termed a Tag Axle Rig. An RV called Safari made without a bedroom - the interior was huge as the bed was hidden in the ceiling - now called Safari Beds This trivia does not trivialize this comfortable, spacious RV. Thanks again, Nick for showing us another fine machine.
Neither of the rear axles are driven as the FIAT is front wheel drive. That feature turns these large motorhomes from mobile to static on any type of slippery surface, even damp grass can stop them!!! The kitchen layout is somewhat impractical for a large luxury motorhome as the fridge/freezer is very modestly sized to give space above for an oven and microwave; my wife at 5’2” suggests great care would need to be taken when retrieving any fluids from the microwave. All in all it appears to us, with 30+ years of travel experience, that the design needs a lot more thought. Can’t really see this selling to many experienced owners as there are too many gimmicks and not enough practicality where it matters.
Like the ALDE central heating and central bathroom and full internal doors. Also the cabinets over the bed are high enough to allow sitting up in bed. Ta for the tour.
That is quite the piece of equipment. Very boat like rear bedroom. Looks like it would be comfortable for a couple month journey or a few days as you travel to your boat in the Mediterranean!!!!! Yes/no
A lovely motor home, however that locker for dirty boots is on the wrong side. It should be close to the entrance. Just an observation Nick. Have a good weekend on the water.
I fully understand the concept of these - but the price just doesn't make any sense to me. For instance, you can purchase a top of the range Coachman 545 Xtra, which is very similar if not identical to this layout, and still have £135,000 change. That would get you a whole load of 4x4 to pull it, and you when you reach your destination, you have the flexibility to nip elsewhere without dragging your house with you. I just don't understand the rationale in buying one. However nice - there are just too many other options for this budget. Great tour by the way.
nick!! awesome video as usually! the audience has a request.. lower the front bed properly in sometime and roll out the awwning too, they might get a own video where you operate them.
I remember on one of your videos you reviewed a motorhome that had the bathroom door that closes sort of together like that one. I like the cool looking dashboard aswell. That fridge also confused me so much I couldn't tell if it was opening into another sort of compartment
Hi Nick, oh dear this is confession time. I have been watching your videos for a while on Aquaholic and just tonight been thinking wouldn't it be great if there was something just as good but for motorhomes 🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂....well at least I have found you on this channel now as well. Many thanks for all the great video's
Great tour, thanks. Can’t help but think it’s struggle up hills when fully loaded, plus a few design floors as other have already pointed out. I’d rather have an RC designed one!
This is truly a beautiful place to be. Must be the perfect land-yacht for the (very?) well to do retiled couple touring Europe. There is even room for the grand-kids to come for a few days visit. Very impressed. BTW: hearing your attempt to pronounce the name reminds me of the good ole Miele days. Ahh, it was a sinpler time😉. All the best from your Nick-o-holic
I'm sorry but your comment made me laugh a lot.. I'm guessing a ' retiled' couple might have had plastic surgery to match the magnificence of the motorhome or some such thing.
Thought I’d better subscribe to this as I’ve been watching them for a while. Actually Nick this is how I found Aquaholics. My son in law would love a motor home but daughter is into hotels. I love the idea but the Mrs isn’t sure, but she would go for a yacht.
I truly enjoy your excellent presentations, thank you! In this one I missed any space for hanging clothes, but I thought I saw a door you didn't open just behind the toilet room at 6:34. Was that a closet?
I love it but here again on an underpowered Fiat chassis is a no go for me. Big vehicle fully loaded will struggle in mountainous terrain. Good review as always Nick. Thanks 🙏
Diesel Heating ? Compressor Fridge ? Solar panels and Lithium batteries ? Tiny front wheel drive engine ? sounds great for a weekend on a campsite in Yorkshire.
Hi Nick, And thank you for this nice show of this beautiful Niesmann + Bischoff Arto 88LF this is a bigger motorhome or a tiny home you can live in there continuously when you are not materialistic I like this one sleeps 4 or 5 I think a kitchen fully stockt great and a big bathroom for a motorhome a great show again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had a 2019 88lf brand new fully loaded. The 2 year warranty is a joke considering they cost 180k. No propper fitting wheel liners fitted either meaning every time you clean it you basically waste your time. The mud and dirt etc cover the inside of the garage doors, side step and pull out drawers. etc. Niesmann bischoff need to lower the wheel liners or fit mud flaps.
I watch a lot of both European and America videos and I can't see how european one's could be successful in the states. Firstly, yours are so much bigger, whether an RV or a trailer and also you get so much more for your money over there.
These would be better if the TV was on a televator and there was a removable induction hob and a convection microwave instead a hob, oven, and microwave
What an amazing looking and cleverly designed vehicle that is. I bit large for some I would suspect. Although the summer in and around Europe in that luxury would do me fine. Great tour, Love the channel. PS. Did you remember to give the keys back ? LOL
Wow this is the closest thing i’ve seen to a modern version of the awesome 70s GMC motorhomes they made, 6 wheels, front wheel drive, same interior layout, same size but a bit wider. One of the best RVs ever made
Dreadfully underpowered for its size. I had a Dethleffs XXL Globetrotter (6.5 tonne) with an Iveco 3 litre power unit and that used to struggle. This will be struggling in low gears for most of its journeys. Beautiful bit of kit though. This deserves a Merc or Iveco base unit.
