The government has launched a cap on all UK bus fares at the price of just £2. In this megachallenge, we aim to get as far from London as possible, in just two days!

From Luton, it would've been far more efficient to have gotten the MK1 to Milton Keynes followed by an X6 to Northampton and then an X7 to Leicester before getting the Skylink to Derby, but I suppose the obscure plethora of buses you ended up taking made it a lot more fun.

I definitely looked into those routes and it would have saved me about an hour, but as you say I felt those routes were a little dull. The MK1 section on the M1 might be interesting though.

Few years back we had “talking buses” which often mispronounced/misspelled destinations. Now we don’t!

Talking Buses was a great show. I try not to mispronounce place names if possible to stop agonising the locals!

I try to keep my captions on screen as long as I can, but this video was particularly difficult as there’s just so much information to get in! If it’s difficult to read or too fast then feel free to pause the video to read.
