No reparations should be paid as none of these people were kept as slaves. If they want reparations they should speak to African nations because they started the slave trade by collecting other Africans and selling them to Arabs. The UK ended slavery at a huge cost in men. If they get reparations I and many other people could demand reparations from Italy, Scandanavian countries etc. as we were once kept as slaves by these nations. However, I have never met a person who thinks we should do that.

Ive traced my family tree back to 1670, my family has always been working class and lived in poverty. They were boatmen, worked building the canals, worked in dangerous conditions at steelworks, fought in the war and helped to build this nation. Im a single mum of 2 disabled children and theres not enough in the pot to provide my kids with the support we need because the government constantly ploughs money into all the wrong things. These peoole want recompensing by britain when there isnt enough to go round thr peoole who live here because the government would rather give it to migrants and aid to other countries while their own people struggle!? I want some money to recompense for how hard my life is looking after disabled kids in a country where they cut funds constantly for disabled services. To place this burden, this moral claim, on any other racial group would elicit a backlash on a global scale and unending concessions of appeasement. Rhetoric of such nature would be labeled as pre-genocidal but, since this is placed on Whites, we accept it and feeds it. my last comment would be this. Since gaining independence of more then 60 years , what have these countries done to help themselves ? nothing. Germany and japan did " economic miracles" in ten years following WW2 but yet with that vast amount of natural resources , these african countries did nothing but corruption and greed to themselves. Black Slavery finished in Saudi Arabia and neighbouring Muslim Countries ( Kuwait, Oman, Yemen etc ) in 1962. And the last Country to abolish Black Slavery was Mauritania in 1989 ( Arabs slaving Blacks ). And Black Slavery in the Muslim World lasted 1200 years ( in the West lasted 300 years ). Do someone asked the Muslim World for reparations? 😅😅
