What about a Mercedes slk or clk, since he wanted a cabrio? A mercedes slk mk1 kompressor has almost 200hp with room for improvement. Those with monoblock rims and amg kit look amazing. Would be nice to see more Mercedes and Audi's on the channel

What happened to the hot hatch challenge with the VXR? Why can't these lot just do one series through to completion. I like the V2 stuff more at this point, as well as TDC. The main challenge is a yawn fest

Never heard of a 32 way adjustable coilover before... These are single adjustable. The damper stiffness can be selected in 32 increments.

As much as I enjoy this channel, there is a danger it can go a little stale. Hopefully you’ll take the constructive criticism on board and put some thought into future videos. A channel can go downhill as quickly as it kicked off if viewers are bored.

I've never owned one but I love the mk2 MR2 so much I convinced a house mate to buy one 😂. He just added a sports cat back exhaust that really pepped up the power, dynoed at 182bhp. Then added some toyo semi slicks. I got to drive it a few times and it was a ton of fun! Loved the handling, it just turned like a ballet dancer.

I think they should try something different like what overdrive used to do. I loved their videos where they were competing against each other trying to handbrake turn a ford ka into a tiny space. Doing that with the autoalex gang would be hilarious!

Guys, I understand all of you that y’all think it’s a repeat but I really don’t get you all. First things first - it’s a different story. We watch any show or any video to see the lads. Second, let’s also understand that Alex just had a baby. Compared to ANY content creator/journalist out there - he’s doing absolute maximum since the beginning before Baby Brenda and after Brendamelia was born! Cut some slack and bear with it. Better videos will come and I trust that Alex and the lads have something good. You can’t always have different content but always a unique story! Alex you can pin this lol. Cheers.

Lot of opinions from a lot of people. Videos "feeling" the same when they aren't the same is legit an issue. If I know half of what you're going to do to a car before you start, then that's half a video I don't need to watch. The larger series need way more lead time; that would prevent the issue of getting behind either on editing or on the work that needs to be done to the cars in the video. The aim of the channel needs to be more refined. If it's not about doing the work and rather sending the car off to someone (betty getting pd'd), then you're limited to being a car documentary channel; basically here's one someone made earlier but with a project car. And the "new dad" excuse kinda doesn't wash when you have several people under you who don't have day jobs aside from this specific content creation. It's ok to let go and take some steps back Alex, especially for your first kid. The videos are good, but it's Year 3, there needs to be some longer range planning to secure the future of the channel and content. You can only fly by the seat of your pants for so long...

To all the people in the comments complaining about the free content you're watching, I'd like to see you do a better job! Alex & the team smash it out of the park every video, they are so entertaining and never fail to put a smile on my face. Just imagine having to devote your life to being a father, but also your business. You can't say that's easy and if you think it is, then again please try it! Keep up the good work guys

The clutch pedal squeak could be a slightly more serious issue. The bracket that holds the clutch pedal tends to Crack and eventually break on the NC's. So, if I were you, I'd poke your head under the dash, and watch the clutch pedal assembly while pressing the clutch and see if the pedal assembly is moving strangely. If it is, or you notice any cracking, replace the whole assembly.

My friends aunt had a 2009 mk3 for sale.. offered to sell it to us for a really good price so obviously we jumped at the offer for some summer rwd fun. Thing ended up parted out because it was pure rotten underneath and all the rubbers were disintegrating and of course, the knocking. Absolute rot boxes, all generations of them.

as a nc1 owner whos slowly tryna build his first project car, the opening and ending to this video effectivley being a little loveletter to the mk3 mx5 and singing its praises as the best project car between 2-3k and filling the spot of the mk1 from 10 years ago really made me happy with my choice, cant wait to see more from this car, (maybe a donut media money pit style series where you get to see this nc's transformation job by job ....... maybe ....... plz......., also buy me bc racing coilover love u alex n taylor

Is it just me or has anyone else realised it is NOT an mx5 SPORT as they seem to think it is. The sport had larger alloys, front fog lights, leather interior with heated seats and a six speed box. What they have there is a 2.0 option pack car😢

I think some people have missed the point of this video. It wasn't about starting a new series, or showing a different car. It was simply doing something nice for someone and showing appreciation. Alex has just had a Brenda, which takes up a lot of time and energy. The fact he's still bothering to put out content is great, who cares what it is. Keep it coming 👌🏼

I do agree that the recent uploads have seemed repetitive but thats on me watching it. Alex is looking out for his team and ensuring they're looked after using his platform.
