Hey guys welcome back for another episode. In this 1 Baz and the team have a job that needs to be completed no matter what it takes! The work takes place on the log wash of a CDE wash plant! Failure was not a option on this Sunday shift when it comes to a job that creates so much income per hour.

It'd be interesting to show the viewers the hoops you have to jump through just to be able to start work on a piece of plant like this. Permits to work, method statements, locking off etc before you even step foot on it. When I first started doing stuff like this , life was a lot more simple and you just did it. Nowadays , you have to go on courses to be able to be an authorised / competent person to be able to secure plant/ machinery for working on. Spent many, many hours, days, weeks inside spaces that would scare the pants off of most people. Nice work- you have a good team there.

exactly, although The professional Struggler seems to still manage to dodge it all . Definity needed on sites like this but it has also taken over everything else where you need it all to change a light bulb in an office and people now spend their time chasing pointless generic pieces of paper rather than having time to concentrate on a safe job. Health and Safety has turned into an industry trying to grow and expand to feed itself

I operated tower cranes for years ,and if you could have seen some of the repairs we had to undertake you would not have believed it , but all got achieved by the gangs that had worked at heights for years and all knew there jobs , the last 10 years before retirement where the worst that I experienced due to health and safety

This is so cool seeing this, I wonder what year it is? I personally welded the end onto those big log pipes if the first year or two of production and those holes and plates where you are bolting onto were machined on our big lathe and drilled tapped on our giant borer. Good morning Baz and the director ....*glad / hoping you're better Baz !!* I can't believe you've got white finger mate. Years of HAVS that I think we all faced. I was using a jackhammer cutting through HRA for years to repair water mains ....no 15 min breaks then! You'd have been sacked for that. So some days when I wake up I do drop the odd cup whilst making a brew 😮. I must say that digger driver has got a lovely touch with the shaft and chains ⛓️⛓️....can you remember / imagine trying to that without a machine 😳😳😳 Hard jobs regardless of experience or type go far easier with a "willing team" and watching you all together just proves it. If someone had told me a few years ago I'd get such enjoyment out of watching someone repair a bucket or replace a bearing I'd of thought they were mad!!! But I do 😂😂😂 Not only because of the work , banter but also with the editing and production of each vlog. Thanks for cheering me up. Be safe , Gary 🙏
