Its baffling really that he(Joffy) got more minutes in the prem a few seasons back, that may have been down to injuries to others, but he definitely had some quality moments, and i really thought he'd light up the championship.

Starting to wonder how rasmus would have done in the championship under this management, a lot of people had no fauth in firpo yet now hes one of the first names on the teamsheet. The system thats being played can always make the best in world look bad and not just at leeds. Shevchenko at chelsea for example.

Rapha shows just how incompetent and clueless the previous owner was - you have to wonder with crazy transfers like this and other contracts did the only people that didn't know about Radz and the money at the club was Leeds fans because every other club, the players in question and agents certainly seemed to and we got rinsed - I add Kalvin at the time in this as well, we could have got more but the player wanted to not go and play any football at Man City

In over 40 years of Supporting Leeds Raphinia is the best ever Leeds player I've seen..Wow Raphinia in an oleary team we would have won the league by Xmas lol. I'm.hoping 1 day he will return to finish his career at Leeds hopefully it's when Haaland has finally joined Leeds .

Thats hate lol he was not as good as Kewell but close. Raphinha would be on the right and bring Bowyer into the centre as he played better there. Raph is playing better now than he did for us so maybe now he might be but not for us

I believe Leeds needed to keep hold of JG because he is classed as a TA academy product despite being bought from Wigan. The new rules specify a minimum of 8 'home grown', I thought it was 7 academy products. For that reason we bought Cairns he is an academy product for Leeds, given he was developed at TA. It may be tricky for the club to sell JG in January because of this rule.

I don't agree with much of what he says, but , Allardyce nailed it when he said most players who come from Bundesliga and such leagues struggle with the pace of English football. Kristensen was like a fish out of water here, totally passed him by.

That’s a very good assessment of Joe Geldhart, Conor. He has clearly lost his way at Leeds and looks a frustrated lad when he gets the odd minutes here and there. He should go out on loan asap or move permanently to revive his career. To be behind Bamford in the pecking order is horrendous for him. Even if we just got our money back on Rasmus or made a small loss I’d let him move immediately. Rapha is and always will be a legend in my eyes. Up there with Hernandez, Radebe, Woodgate, Giles, Lorimer, McAllister, etc and would get in my All Time Leeds 11.

Rapha kept us up - his ability to take multiple opponents out the game was second to none, carried the team - if we could have only surrounded him with some better players - what could have been.

To me geldart would been our num 9 if it had not been for barndoor bamford . Joseph got a great run ..geldart 5 min here 10 min there ..even after he scores a great goal ..so yea. Agree he better off leaving. Take barndoor with ya

Geldhardt wages are too high at Leeds in this league, no championship will pay the same money, hence he's happy to sit it out and pick his money up, plus if Leeds are promoted his wage improves further.

Gelhardt should have spent the last couple of seasons on loan, it's by far the best way to develope young players because they do not improve by sitting on the bench. Brenden Aaronson has returned as a better player from Union Berlin try get Gelhardt a loan move there.

Geldarht should play at lower level in my opinion , he needs to build his confidence. Loan him out to a league 1 side and see his development .

@@leedsunitedoldschool2837 that's actually incorrect. Our cup replay away at Plymouth last season in February time... Gelhardt came on as sub and was like a man possessed. Played very well, and was unlucky not to score, hitting a post. Seemed desperate to prove a point and show he was good enough. Then the next league game and for the rest of the season he went back to not being used. Nothing kills a person's incentive more than being ignored. If you give your all and still nobody gives you the time of day, you start to think what's the point 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️it's human nature. It was very much a similar tale for alot of fringe players last season. Cresswell and Anthony in particular. I'm not saying for one moment that Gelhardt is capable of being a difference maker, or even good enough to begin with. However if a player is getting only getting 4 and 5 minutes to prove themselves, whereas meslier has been given 200 games to prove himself. Its not exactly a fair chance is it.

Rasmus always a decent player and why Morinho wanted him. Yes he was gash for us but simply never given a decent coach and even Marsch didn’t use him as expected. Full Danish International with plenty of European cup experience
