Great milestone, im loving seeing the progression. I'm just getting started investing this year as im 18, but its really motivating to see videos like this.
Great progress- well done! You are certainly on track to retire at 50. I’ve recently retired at 53. What is your goal before you consider to retire £? I would like to have built more in ISA, but utilised quite a bit to buy a property in Spain. Thankfully this has doubled and can provide a substantial income when I decide to rent. 👍🏻
Thanks - based on pulling an income of £80,000 on the 4% rule would equate to £2m, though if I wanted to be a bit more conservative it may be around the £2.5m mark.
Ive just discovered your channel appreciate the transparency around the portfolio positions. Something which would be good to see is a breakdown of household budget i.e. how much of your income goes towards your mortgage, bills, discretionary etc I assume your both higher rate tax payers to put the full ISA allowance in?
Hi, first of your videos ive seen, I have a question, do you own your own property yet or are you renting? have you already paid your mortgage?. Be interested to know your future planning on that regarding your retirement plan.
That's pretty incredible considering you are in your early 30s! It would be a good portfolio in your early 50s!! It's just a bit confusing because you merge you and your partner's pensions, so it's hard to see where you are as an individual.
Well I'm hoping only good things happen to us as a couple :) But in my view it's always worth looking at finances together as it's the combined figure that I will look at to determine if it's the right time to retire.
