A place you won't forget, not just for the food but the kindness the owner showed , there are some inspirational people out there.

Getting choked up there, Lee mate. Totally get it. Unassuming hard working couple delivering the goods at a fraction of franchise prices. Honest, genuine and thoughtful too by the looks of it. I love it when the independent outlets get coverage on your channel, mate. Keep up the excellent work. Much respect.

Hey Lee! It’s nice for you to promote these small businesses that would necessarily be overlooked, with them being around the back and away from the beach front. I knew straight away when you arrived that this one would be good - no flashy modern signage, plenty of seating inside, cheap prices and a simple menu. I always find that the best chip shops are like this - presumably because the food is so good that they don't need to spend on advertising. 10/10 for this one.

Visited today. Spotlessly clean, lovely owners and incredibly good fish, chips and mushy peas. In fact everything you said it was. They clearly appreciated your visit.

These are the places we should support. We should all go there and to similiar places once a week

amazing quality and a bargain to boot, i live further up north and no chippy is anywhere near that price, somethings amiss fish has doubled in price even in the major supermarkets, yet heres a man running a chippy at prices were told arent possible, that old chestnut cost of living, please support folk like this owner and a merry christmas to all.

Fantastic here in Newcastle Co Down N Ireland we are paying 3 times more to sit in and we have a deep water fishing harbour landing fresh fish every day half an hour’s delivery away

Another fantastic video Lee! I detest take the piss prices! Down in Cornwall at the moment 5th Dec. Falmouth Harbour Lights Fish and Chip shop, what you had for £5.25 is £12.50 there, and cooked by kids, all in their early 20’s! Bloody outrageous.

Visited here a couple of weeks ago following your recommendation . I ordered fish, chips and peas and ate inside. I think it was £5.99 plus about £1.50 for a drink. Excellent price, good food and nice premises. Only slight criticism was the small amount of chips and small fish. But i guess this is reflected in the price, so hard to be too critical.

This is great Lee definately will be trying it next time me and the kids are there, weve had the £1 burgers a couple of times but now I know where to go for fish n chips , there was black pudding chips n gravy on the menu for £4.95 never seen that combo before . Its only £6.50 for pie chips peas gravy , bread n butter and tea or coffee. Even had haggis on the menu. A great find thankyou. 🥰😉❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Yeah chris closed up on the last day of the season on 6th November. He doesn’t reopen now until the end of march for the start of the Easter holidays.

That food looked amazing. I've shared this to Facebook because I have a cousin who lives in Blackpool. I've many fond memories of family holidays in Blackpool. I know its out of season. But I was surprised by how many cafes and stuff looked closed in your footage as you were walking around empty streets.

that was a bargain , its good to see a shop not jumping on the price hike like others, id walk that extra mile for that fish supper at that price rather than pay nearly 10 quid everywher else. it looked perfect and lovely .

Advice for chippie eaters in the north west. Avoid all chippies that you can smell the oil. If there is a queue ascertain why, is it because it was a favoured shop, close by a venue. Queues are good in a chippy - fat is always hot & chips go quickly, smells like good food & you want some now. Are the staff friendly? Do they cook fry fish to order? Not been to Blackpool in a long time - I was in a relationship with someone who’s parents owned a chippy in north Manchester. He taught me a lot. Mainly observation. The Ketch Inn on the front was our best experience for us. A queue, people sat down, proper cutlery, fish cooked to order, plus you can get the best drink to contemplate fish, chips & mushy peas - a cup of tea! Great vlog this fella.
