did you know if your subscribers dont watch your videos youtube will consider you uniteresting channel and start to drop you out from the top feed page? Just putting it out there, also people tend to stop watchign your videos when you start to beg for subs and make reference to your subs count
I've missed Gareth. Glad to have him back 😊 also keep up the awesome videos. Staying up to really late evening here in Australia to watch the videos being released 😅
This would be quality! If Taylor does not have his motorbike licence this would make for comical viewing seeing the adventures of Taylor obtaining his bike licence and getting in on this action!
@GamingGecko2013 it would be gold, you couldn't even write about what would come out of Taylor's mouth. The instructor would be in bits cracking up, along with the rest of the viewers.
Being BOTH a car lover AND a 34 year 'time served' all weather biker... I'm LOVING the fact that you are including motorbikes in your videos! They're just as fun as mucking about in £500 'Shit boxes' (I'd say more so in many ways 🤪). Anyways... Where's my Fabia VRS fella? 😋🤣🤣🤣 😎🇬🇧
I didn't even realise Alex had a bike license. Nice to see cars and bikes on the channel, there aren't that many options for bike content like this. You boys definitely picked a day for it though; when the guy riding the massive tourer is soaked, you know you've picked the wrong day, I was sympathising massively from my own experiences, especially when you guys hit that bit of flooded road...
As a Finn I'd love to know the story behind the Koti since koti autotalli means home garage directly translated from finnish. Albeit the pronunciation is somewhat different.
Having just bought my 1st bike, a 1998 kawasaki er500 for £699! This is perfect, hope to see lots more bike stuff through the summer 💪🏼 also love seeing Gareth back on!!! Missed him
Superb first episode on bikes! Hearing you both laughing out loud in your helmets as two mates on the open road properly embracing two wheels really gives a flavour of motorcycle ownership. Looking forward to future videos well done 👏🏼
Ha! I live in Thailand and we use waaaaay bigger bikes than those for touring! 😂 Great episode and I'm looking forward to more bike content! Love from Thailand
I got myself an ideal candidate for this challenge, last year! Found a 1992 Kawasaki GPZ 305 that had been partially converted into a super-lightweight Café Racer. Frame had been shortened, custom-made exhaust, painted tank, etc. Got it for £500. I fancied a bit of a project. HOWEVER... yeah... I kinda wasted my money! Decided to strip it to the frame and recondition it from the ground-up. Every time we tackled it, we found more horror stories! Exhaust was restrictive as hell and hit the rear brake lever, tank had been painted... with fence paint(!!), brakes were warped, electrics had been (badly) tampered with, seat wasn't mounted properly, rear shock needs serviced, handlebars and headlamp not fitted correctly, etc. We've since got a new exhaust, new brakes, new seat, new headlamp, new fairing and some more parts. She'll need new tyres, too. She'll be nice when we're done and it'll be completely unique, but my word, it's needed some spending!! 😆
Seems most comments are loving the bike content. But personally I’m not interested. I’ll just skip the bike vids, but too much bike content might switch off some long term car fans, and by skipping vids more often, your vids will be further down my recommended page. Might be better to have car and bike channels perhaps. But do keep up the great content. Seems there are plenty of bike enthusiasts who liked this new content.
I don't like bikes, or the behaviour of bikers in the Netherlands (or potentially anywhere else but I can't speak for that) but I am actually looking forward to this series as it does seem like all sorts of disas... fun. All sorts of fun.
I used to buy old roadbikes and use them over feilds in the 80s never paid more than 25 /30 quid old 500s plenty of cub 90s lol and and honda benlies it was great fun ,love the chanel content guys awesome stuff 🤘
I'm so confused as to why this garage is called 'Home Auto Garage' in Finnish, I couldn't find any link to Finland on their website lol I definitely understand the coffee tho, coffee is like our blood in Finland
The fact that these two lads are on shitebox bikes in the pissing rain getting drowned while still having a laugh really says it all about riding motorbikes. Rain Hail sleet or snow youll never see an unhappy rider unless hes broken down at the side of the road for the 50th time that year
People, who are young and want to get into cars, buy a motorcycle. In some cases, they are faster and they are cheaper to mantain. You still get your adrenaline pumpin, motorcycles are so much fun!
Hell yeah. This is nice refreshing thing. Love bikes. Pretty much all channels regarding bikes are covering completely new GS's, Africa Twins etc. anyway stuff straight from the top. So cool to see this stuff 👍👍 I was expecting that owner to Finnish.. What on earth... (Kotiautotalli = Home garage)
I had a Bandit S 600 as my first motorcycle. It honestly looked so much like the one in the video. It is not supposed to be a naked bike. Mine was also COVERED in "protective" oil that every shop would point out. That basically meant the engine leaked, but never once did a drop hit the pavement where it would be parked. The engine was simple and had a great personality above 4,000 revs. It is an air cooled & carbureted engine, so it never needs much to get it going. Mine only ever needed a new rear coil over, freshened up front suspension, brakes, and tires & clutch when I wore them out. I think over the 2.5 years of owning it, I spent mayyyybe close to $2000 on maintenance, most of which was from previous owner neglecting the bike. I wouldn't own one again, but I would highly recommend one for a first bike, if someone was already looking. Nothing bad about it.
I have no real interest in bikes, but this was highly entertaining and i'm looking forward to more. I'm still not buying a bike though you cant make me!
I've missed Gareth since the podcast days, the updates of him trying to sell his BMW, then getting his Electric car kept me entertained through lock down while queuing up to go into Tesco
Awesome content Alex! Missed seeing you and gareth together! With bikes now included really excited to see the upcoming adventures! Would be cool to see how they handle on the NC500! Hint hint 😅
Very excited to see some bike content at last, and looking forward to more from this series and future ones. Lovely seeing Gareth back too. That said, that Bandit is an absolute crate isn't it 😂 Beemer isn't bad though, or at least has potential.
Guys a friend of mine tried out his bike on his yard doing like 10-20kph after doing the brakes. They failed he crashed and since he wasnt wearing a helmet he broke his skull... So please think about that next time youre riding even very slowly for the camera on an unknown bike you never know what going to happen. Love the channel keep making the awesome content❤️
Gareth is back!! Now steal Ethan and the old crew and completely rebuild the old CT!!! Please do it. Now you could have also showed us the buying process as well. So glad to see bikes on here as well.
Ahhh, the good old days of cheap motoring and bike fun on autoalex... now it's all ferraris, several superbikes/ornaments, 911s and buying a daily driver Macan....
Would be epic to see you Alex, Gareth and Taylor on a bike adventure. Possibly even some Isle of Man content? 👀 or Antrim N.I. Even if Taylor doesn’t have a full bike license would be funny to see him try stay with you guys on a 125cc 🤣
