So many people neglected or looked past him thinking he is always so humourous and positive all the time, but he is probably the most complicated member in BTS. He had such a hard time to break himself out of the shell he had during debut days, and spent more time than everyone else to learn abt dance, singing from scratch. Moreever, he is a strong example of someone who built self-love and confidence from the bottom. His strong mentality is really no joke.
I can related and understand jin so much, because I have same personality as him as in cheerful, humorous and positive all the time, even my close friends always wonder if I ever have a problem. What they don't know is that I barely sleep at night due to overthinking and most of time out of regret if i make mistake and i always critical towards myself. Sorry for telling about myself but my point is that I believe jin must be experiencing what i exprienced too. In which it make me feel bad for him when fans or haters ignore him just because they find his humor is over the top. Jin I purple you forever💜

There will always be bigger fish in the pond. But that doesn’t mean they have won everything. Jin will always be loved wholeheartedly and unconditionally by people who can truly recognise him and they will not care about who is this best dancer best this or that in BTS. I know people who love Jin truly are not just fans but actually people who love him as their own. The heart project during epiphany, the birthday project with Jin written in heart cards, the handmade moon boxes for army bombs. You can’t do this for someone just because you’re fans. Easy to become a fan of someone because you just liked their skill in dancing or singing or rapping. But loving a celebrity wholeheartedly means you love their existence, their passion, determination, personality, aura, kindness, humanity and then skills. You love them forever because of how they are and not just because of one skill or popularity. That’s why it doesn’t matter who tries to bring Jin down or hate him or how “underrated” he might seem. Jin will always be truly loved by the people who have recognised him and appreciate his existence.
jin is actually the reason why I stay in the fandom.I'm not the type that would like a band and stay for so long, I enjoy their music and that's it actually. Tbh when I saw BTS at first I was attached to Jimin, but then I saw jin who keeps making funny jokes and dumb shit at the run bts, and for a while, I thought that's just him. But then I started to notice a pattern where jin is very undervalued and unseen in every bts mv or song, and I dig up further trying to understand why, and i found a video in where some of them describe jin as a Lousy dancer and singer and how he is not even supposed to be visual. Dude, imagine being him in the entertainment industry where he got insults constantly (probably the one who gets the most hates compare to the other) and he could still smile and did not quit. I respect him a lot, that's why I stay.
Me too..I stayed because of him. I mean..I never thought I would have a bias or I will stan these boys for life. I was just giving a try to please the friend who suggested them to me. I have watched Hwarang, so that made a bit soft for Tae, but never thought I would have an ultimate favorite. Then I watched this video and I'm a Jin stan for life. His struggles represent our own insecurities and hardships we face atleast at some points in life. And I was exactly there when I found him. I won't exaggerate, but my admiration for him has made me a much mature person. Like "I stan a man like that, and why I'm so selfish?" whenever I feel irresponsible. He is oxyjin forever...
well said! This is my exact story too from liking Jimin at the start then wanting to get to know them and stayed because of Jin. Now I appreciate and look up to all of them, but Jin will always be my greatest inspiration. He's the person who really made me realize that working hard actually pays off and I don't need to do anything in exchange for anyone else's approval or praise as long as I can be proud of myself and continue to improve even when others cannot see it.
"The fans didn't come to our concert to see out tears they come to see our performance, so we have to control our emotions." This makes me sad really bad.
I think they now know fans come to see THEM including as human beings. When they share emotions with ARMY it shows they aren't afraid to expose feelings like ARMY shouldn't be afraid - we all share the happy & sad because we are all human with hearts and tears and smiles.
Jin was the reason why I got hooked with BTS. His humor caught my attention when I first watched the group at James Corden's Carpool Karaoke. His singing conveys so much emotion and his diction when he sings in English is so on point, I can clearly understand the lyrics when he sings his part. My son speaks Japanese and he said he understands Jin's parts very well in their Japanese songs. Thank you for honoring him. This makes me love him more.
I've watched it numerous times, but I can't stop crying every time I see Jin fighting back his tears to remain brave in the face of a million armies. I adore how Jin expresses his love for BTS and all of the fans. He balances himself to be the best brother and team member rather than being egotistical and self-centered. He does every effort to prevent suffering for the member. Like us, for BTS members, Jin is a member of the group for which they are grateful.
I am watching this after BTS radio interview with Halsey, where fans were asked ” who is most likely to mess up with the choreography” (something like that) and fans pointed out on jin and RM. it made me sad and angry at the same time tbh. those so-called fans should have watched this video in order to understand how much Jin worked hard to showcase better performances and how incredibly good he became with both singing and dancing..recently I don't see any of BTS performances where Jin made mistake but people still didn't hesitate to choose him as a weak dancer instead of encouraging him, he works extremely hard to show his better version of himself but those so-called fans still choose to be blind towards him.Jin will join the military soon and the only thing we could do is being thankful to him and showing our support and love instead of making him feel bad (sorry for the bad English) I just wanted to get this off my chest
Thinking Jin will one day leave the group to enlist in the military made me very sad, so thoroughly embrace and support the group now is the utmost Army can do 💪💪💪
Honestly,there's so much more to Jin than he shows. Because he tries to show us only his bright and better side,but if you pay even a little attention,you'd see how much he does that goes unseen because he keeps it lowkey. He does so much for members and bts in general and he does so much for armys,his love for us is so genuine and its obvious from the creative ways he responds to our love. We really don't deserve him,and to think there are people who take him so much for granted makes me so sad. He's a gem,if only everyone could see. Such an amazing person. He never showed his true personality,always keeps it hidden under so many layers but it still comes through and you can see bits of it if you started paying attention,once you do,you'd start loving him unconditionally like we do.
Now, I believe Jin is getting the attention he deserves. His fandom is growing steadily especially among matured people like me who is in my 70's. His OST song "Yours" is a smash hit becoming number 1 in most countries. Jin really is my ultimate bias. I even bought a birthday kit to celebrate his birthday on Dec. 4 which is just a few days from now. I'm sure all his fans all over the world are up to something to make his birthday a memorable one. Очень быстро научилась всех ребят различать и свободно владела их именами уже через неделю (без обид, но мне в первое время было сложно различить лица юношей не родной мне национальности - я из Сибири). Но с Сокджином произошла необычная ситуация - я больше 2х недель не могла в их группе "найти" седьмого участника! Всех называла, узнавала, а кто седьмой? Он ведь есть!!! И каково было моё удивление и восхищение, когда я в танцующей и поющей группе увидела Джина!!! Потом нашла в Ютубе его снимки с разных фотосессий. Боже, когда я увидела этого скромного, не выпячивающего себя на показ, красивейшего юношу я просто обомлела! Нет слов описать моё состояние Души на тот момент - восторг от увиденной необычайной красоты! Особенно очаровали его глубочайшие, часто грустно-печальные глаза, которые он успешно "маскирует" очаровательными улыбками и неповторимыми воздушными поцелуями! Но...глаза не умеют лгать, хитрить. Какая же в них сокрыта забота, сопереживание о своих братьях-мемберах! Я просто потрясена! Смотрю в его глаза на фото и слёзы сами начинают течь из моих глаз. Это какая-то магия, волшебство по исцелению моей раненой Души! Не зря сам Сокджин в одном из интервью сказал, что самая замечательная часть его лица по его мнению - это его глаза. Даже не губы, а глаза! Но его внутренняя красота оказалась не менее прекрасной! Мне 65 лет, и для меня нет лучшего артиста в этой замечательной группе, нет во всём свете лучшего хёна для мемберов группы! Для меня вообще нет другого такого человека с какими-то неземными качествами его Души. Я не встречала в своей жизни ни в ближнем, ни в дальнем окружении такой великой доброты, любви к людям, как в сердце Сокджина! Для меня он уже очень длительное время остаётся Ангелом на Земле! Я счастлива от того, что живу с ним на одной Земле в одно и то же время, могу видеть видеоролики о нём, о его жизни, слышать и много раз переслушивать его чарующий голос. If you think Jin is the most generic member, just think about what Taehyung said, Jin is one of the most quiet members, but look at him now. Very voiceferous and loud. He was full of insecurities, but he worked hard to overcome them. Imagine, he was aware and apologetic of his insecurities while being in a very discouraging, judgemental, and demotivating avenue. You call this man weak? Think again. He conquered odds that was alive within himself and we can't even do shiit about ourselved without whining on Social Media.
Right? It's dumb for army to show their support only to select members. Jin is one of the most caring and hardworking person I've ever seen. His solo epiphany is the best example of how much he has grown in terms of singing. I saw their dance practice for ON... Jin can definitely bust some moves! Every single member should get the love they deserve and not simply based on who stands out. They're a group for a reason..
He is a true embodiment of "love yourself". I believe, subconsciously, he's the gravity of the band. He's the glue. That is his ultimate power that people tend to overlook. He actually has such beautiful personality. And even his struggles and weaknesses make him more relateable to us. PS: I am not a die-hard fans. I enjoyed their music and each individuality without having any favouritism towards specific member.

I think it's ok if jin doesnt have many stans compared to other members. 진이는 기본적으로 사람자체가 따뜻하고, 머리도좋고 스마트함. 근데 춤 노래, 음악적재능, 연예인의 끼에 있어 자기보다 월등한 동생들 사이에서 진짜 힘들었을듯. 근데 내가 방탄에 눌러앉은건 오롯이 진 때문임. 솔직히 유퀴즈랑 채널십오야보고 전혀 잘생겨보이지않았음. 전못진 진이파트에서 완전 꽂히고, 에피파니 충격. 그리고 달방포함 진이 영상을 보니, 진짜 너무 매력적임. 진짜 석진이 이름만봐도 눈물나는 지경이 맞음. 예능보면, 아이구 내새끼 애쓰네 이런느낌. 이제 보컬은 너무나 인정받고있고, on을 보면 춤도 너무늘었고. 석진아 진짜 넌 감동이야. 요즘보면 좀 힘들어보여서 맘 아프다.
I joined the fandom being attracted to Tae, but stayed because of Seokjin. I can never explain the feeling when I see him hugging everyone prior to a concert to prevent them from being to tensed up. At that very moment, I told myself, this is the man with the sparks, this is the man that I can look up to, this is the man that will not let me down, and this is the man that will give me reasons to live the best of my life. And look at where he is now. I am so proud, so proud.

I always feel sad whenever I hear Jin's solo songs. I feel all kinds of emotions. Jin may be the oldest member and the funniest but he is the softest and one of the more insecure members. He has the strongest mentality and he really worked hard. I want to share how much we should appreciate Jin. He took care of BTS well. He deserves all the love. I first became an Army because of Tae Hyung. However, after knowing BTS better, I was attracted to Jin because of his confidence, his hardworking mindset and his strong mentality. He gave himself the title WWH because he was insecure. He's a person who cried so hard after his debut stage performance because his pants kept sliding. Some people say mean things about jin. But for me jin is the best from BTS. He always cheer his members and take care of them. Jin is so funny that he hides his pain from us so we won't get sad. I learnt from him that making others laugh is the best way to feel happy. He had no idea about singing or dancing. But he never gave up on him self. He tried he practiced. And today he is so much better at singing and dancing. Like jimin said jin is the person who works most in BTS because he wants to be as much good as his other members. He want to make his team even better. He dose not like to make any mistake or anything that can make BTS name bad. So he works hard. Jin may not have the same level of experience in dancing and singing. But, he absolutely have talent. To see someone who dances and sings just as great as the others on stage is astounding !! I can feel his pain when he felt that he was “not as good as the others.” He kept the pain to himself and put on a facade that he’s a happy-go-lucky person. He worked hard, endured pain and was able to surpass himself. Thank goodness, the other members were kind and understanding and built a teamwork that enhanced BTS. I love Jin !! (And the others too)

I’m a sad sister now. This really means a lot. Jin is so special and I think many overlook that. He’s goofy and wild, but no one ever thinks, wow, if Jin wasn’t in BTS would it really be the same. Would they really be where they are now? And it goes for all of them, but I’ve seen people tell Jin, Jhope, and RM to leave BTS. Tell me would BTS really be successful without any of their members. They are 7, and will always be 7. This video was really meaningful and as a Jin stan, thanks. This video is very well made. I got into BTS in February of this year and the only regret I have is not getting into it sooner. They’ve brought my friends and I closer together and helped us establish a bond that I hope will never break. BTS has taught me about a brotherhood, and effort. I will forever be grateful for their lyrics that helped someone like me, find a reason to smile and look at myself and say, “Hey I’m pretty great.” It’s nice to hear from someone you don’t know at all tell you how special you are.

When I got to high school I had a friend that was very outgoing and she basically changed my personality! I can still be shy at times, but I love to make people smile and let them know that they are loved. I purple you, Diya!!!!!
Jin, to me, was that member that drew my attention the most when i started listening to BTS and came across so many army videos. His personality his smile and his voice always brought a smile to my face and to this day still does. I'm glad I came across BTS but even more glad that I came across such a wonderful man. Watching the old videos and seeing how far he has come as a singer and dancer makes me so proud of him. Im proud that I'm a Jin stan and wouldn't change it for the world. HAPPY Birthday Worldwhide Handsome may the next year bring bigger and better things. We'll be watching and cheering you on 😄

I'm OT7 and Jin bias. Not trying to sound like I'm exaggerating, but he makes me want to be a better person and not give up no matter how hard it is for me and try to gain my confidence. He inspires me I love him so much.
진이가 처음부터 노래에뜻이없어서그치 데뷔할때는 이미 다른 데뷔 경쟁자들 제치고 당당히 노래로 뽑혔으니까 방탄이 된거에요.. 초기때부터 진이 노래 잘했습니다.단지 댄스부분 조금부족했지만 지금은 너무 완벽하고.. 다른 보컬친구들도 노래실력은 처음엔 비둥비둥 똑같았어요.. 방탄초기에 노래실력이 그케 뛰어난 친구는 없었고..춤이 뛰어난 친구들은 몇있었죠..지금은 모두들 잘해내지만요..그런와중에 요즘엔 정국과 더불어 라이브 무대 정말 잘하는 석진이가 된거죠..
Oh my God! This was great! I went through so many emotion with this video. I smiled, giggled, cried, laughed, cried again and welled up with so much pride for Jin. He has so much integrity, faithfulness, honesty and vitality. A wonderful man of BTS.

I am a man who are not crazy with kpop boy bands all the time (i like BP and SNSD 😂) HOWEVER, i start to follow bts a month ago with two main reasons... The way bts compose the melody and lyrics (especially genius suga) AND... jin's everything... I cant believe i can love this guy so much even i am a man I love his angelic vocal, his stable performance in live, his stunning improvement (especially dancing), his attitude, his jokes, his naturally shines... I wish to see his solo more, epiphany and awake are lejindary but too few for me to listen

I say it really amazing that Bts music speaks to you, I've known a couple of fan boys [well only online] who have really help them through Bts music. The lyrics became significant to them, to fulfill a lost dream, to say their not okay and get help to be okay, as men to be able to express emotions. I really like how you got into Bts and I hope you enjoy what more to come. Honestly what you pointed out about Jin, same gosh I would love to have him as a friend.
I’m not the type of person to stan groups cause none of them ever caught my eye. But BTS really is something else, nobody believes me when I say that their music is one of the kind. I love how Bighit encourages Jin to do more things, like compose lyrics, sing better and dance better. They're stepping him out of his comfort zone and pushing him to his limits. In the end, Jin isn't JUST a pretty face...he's so much mord talent and personality wise.
Even as a complete noob in singing and dancing and basically performing on stage in general, to a bystander like me, I can easily see seokjins exponential growth from debut all the way to right now, especially the hard work he put for the past 6+ years to go from basically zero to hero on stage. On camera, we see a goofy eldest hyung Jin, making fun of the younger ones or just generally having fun being a weirdo. On stages, we see another side where he gives his 100% to showcase his immensely attractive performance skills to us. Behind the scenes however, what we don't see, is someone putting in 150% of his effort every single day to improve himself in every aspect possible.
I really hope someday Jin will buy Big Hit ,Hybe … then no one would dare to mess with him… Forever Jin… he is one of the reason for me to be patient with life and persistent in what i do now. I do feel that everything he did was just to make everyone that he loved had a good time in their life. Sincerely i wish Jin will stay positive and happy for the rest of his life.
