i'm so glad someone is focusing on sam! it's so rare and yet he's such a good character that it makes me sad every time because i feel like people forget that the main characters are Dean AND Sam ... Yes, I totally agree with you. Often (even in the series itself) they try to show what a cool character Dean is and how much he suffered throughout the seasons, but, frankly, it's hard for me to perceive his actions at least as good, because he lies too much, and the writers too often point out that he is tired of his life. while forgetting about Sam and everything he had to go through. p.s. I'm not Heichu Dean in any way, I love all the characters equally, even Chuck in his own way. (About English: it's okay, it will be funny if we use the same translator)

I totally agree with what you said about Dean (not forgetting that personally, as much as I like him, he has a huge flaw : he never apologizes and acts as if it never happened after doing or saying the worst possible things). What's also tiring about this is the double standard of the fans about justifying his actions, his suffering, but completely ignoring Sam (because of unjustified hatred... ). The scriptwriters have probably ruined an enormous potential for communication (which is really necessary) in favor of action. PS: Sorry I sound like I'm criticizing a lot, but I just needed to vent. Every time I tried to understand the logic of their interaction, it seemed to me that everything was done intentionally, as if they complement each other and stuff like that, but to be honest, it is not some kind of justice. I was really moved by season five, where Sammy sacrificed himself for the good of the world. And it pained me to see how the full consequences of his actions were left behind the scenes (I'm talking about seasons six and seven when he literally went crazy, seriously, that storyline was so easily disposed of - it's even funny). But after Dean brought an angel into Sam and justified it by saying, “Well, you could have died,” even though Sam said several times that he was ready to do it, Dean still did what he wanted, without thinking about what wants Sammy. But when the same situation happens to Dean, he tries his best to push Sam away and was even ready to kill him so that he would not try to bring him back. I'm very angry about this. Because Sam believes Dean’s words: “I can’t live without you,” and he blatantly lies to him every time and doesn’t trust him, although he himself is no less guilty of him. @@user-gn4up4qq1i What's a shame is that despite their interactions and flaws with each other up until seasons 5 and 6, there was "always" a certain logic. From season 6 onwards, the writers focused on a logic that was no longer "you and me and the rest of the world" but "you and me against the rest of the world" which is clearly counterproductive. Their differences, which complemented each other despite their disagreements and the toxicity already present (which I could still ignore), became synonymous with constant annoyance. They extrapolated personalities without any communication and it became a one-way relationship, and I quote : "Dean will abandon the world for Sam because he can't live without him, and has every right to betray him to that end because the poor guy has suffered emotional deprivation and do nothing to resolve that, but Sam can't do the same thing because it's not the same, they're not equals and oh! remember what you did last time even if I had forgiven you, while you forgive me for all my mistakes but be careful, they were justified". Instead of bringing the right balance and setting things right, they took Dean's side (I certainly suspect this has to do with public opinion) and threw out the window all of Sam's efforts to either help the world, or save Dean, in favor of a Dean who justifies all of his actions and words, but blames Sam for the same thing as if Sam had no problems. I honestly liked Dean a lot and I still do, but I don't like this abusive preferential treatment towards Sam via the double standard. the red line for you was the moment (brand or not it's unjustifiable plus the fact that he's never apologized yet) when he said Sam should have died instead of Charlie. Or that moment as Deanmon when he said the worst to Sam, but once human again never reassured his brother who had clearly just had a breakdown over it while Sam spends entire seasons to try to be forgiven and forget everything because he considers himself less deserving than his brother and more guilty. Honestly I'm not saying Sam didn't do anything, but I don't like the way they make him the sole culprit when they're both toxic, and both had their own justifications (although I tend to to side with Sam for obvious reasons) especially since in the end, only one of the two chose to retain the other. I like them but sometimes the fandom should recognize when certain things are wrong and it's a shame because it ruins a dynamic that had potential. My imagination heals me. sorry I talked a lot, really really sorry. 😭

I've often seen edits with really difficult moments (for example, when Sam is angry that Dean tricked him into saying yes to an angel) and many write in the description or in the comments; Sam just shut up, or Dean just wanted to help. This is not right and it should not be this way, but it is only because the scriptwriters ignore such important themes as “Trust, understanding and forgiveness” in the relationship between brothers that we get this outcome. Each of the characters is good or bad in their own way, but you shouldn’t turn the audience against one of the main characters by pushing the other to the fore. In my opinion, the relationship between the guys and the analysis of problems in their communication with each other should have been given more attention
