So much on the music!! I adore björk and her ‘post’ album cover and the pink and orange flower details (which are now trending) are so inspirational, + Prince for the sparkle and Lana Del Rey in her rock and roll era 🤭 - love the video xx
Ahhhhh yes Lana!! I can’t belive I didn’t tak about her in this! I just really focused on older people but bjork has had a massive impact on me also! I love this so much that you feel the same as me it’s so exiting!! Xoxo (also I just googled the bjork album cover and love it )
i feel like you would rly get inspo from the movie trainspotting ! it has a lots of rly cool male fashion and it has a lot of artsy elements + great color palettes! it’s an intense movie content wise tho so look it up before watching but it’s one of my favs!
if u want a movie to draw music and fashion from id recommend human traffic by justin kerrigan !! a lot of garage music and kinda like trashy fashion, very fun watch !
I always adore ur videos, it’s such a vibe and super helpful! But honestly, its been a struggle for me to figure out my personal style..I feel so pressured to try out trendy things and to fit in with other people just to seem “cool” or whatever. I just feel lost, so I need a bit of advice from you or anybody because you are the best and the sweetest person ever
Honestly what I say to my friends is that if people don’t hate at least something u wear them ur playing it too safe. I discovered my style because I played into ever aesthetic and copied so many influences (nothing wrong with that) as sometimes it’s the only way to find out. Pintrest can help some people. I loved it for inspo. I had to go back to basics as I realised I had too many out there things so that helped me. Prehaps your missing more out there things- so I say get on Vinted. Search broad things like ‘vintage distressed layered cami top screen print’ stuff like that but don’t be too specific. Cus 9 times out of 10 the things I love people wearing online are just vintage things xx that’s honestly the way to do. And avoid shein and temu at all costs bcos I made mistake of shopping from those places in the past (not perfect lol) and they arrive they look like crap they don’t look vintage. My opinion is- if you’re wearing anything vintage you can’t possibly have a bad outfit. Idk if this helped but please keep me updated xoxo
Thank you so so much!! I had been feeling so lost so this felt so reassuring for me. I absolutely hate temu and shein aswell, I prefer thrifting or shopping secondhand whenever I can. I will take your tip into consideration and try to just focus on myself instead because at the end of the day, I’m wearing clothes for myself not for people. Thank you, I hope you have a lovely day!
26 minute video omg a treat !! Totally agree with you on magazines, I’ve really been wanting to find some cool ones but just struggle to find a particular niche 😔
Honestly just look on tiktok or pintrest I’ve found some rly cool ones. Even just a random one second hand from Vinted ! I collect them from all over xx doesn’t Necessarily need to b high fashion as such xx
I used to work for Dis--$#@% and I can tell you, definitely not a fan either!!! Agreed. Love Wes Anderson style. Love 70s rock fashion, especially Laurel Canyon looks. I get inspired by flea markets and Antique shops. I like watching videos and looking at photos of interiors of people's houses as well for inspiration. Old Hollywood and retro pics from 30's, 40's, 50's. Also, vintage clothes inspire me and designers' collections. One artsy movie I loved is: The Double Life of Veronique. I also like period and futuristic movies for style inspo like old Merchant Ivory films or 1980s films about the cyber future like Slamdance, Liquid Sky, or Repo Man, Bladerunner.
i feel like you would love the film - " the zenga brothers and the wisdom of the 3 beans " . its artsy , creative and just really inspirational . deffo the best film i have watched in a long time .
Tbh I don’t know- I only know rly small brand neche ones I haven’t looked into it enough but all I do now is is that don’t buy vogue for fashion as it’s a lot of paid ads so what ur seeing isn’t true as such
