Hola amigo! We are Greg and Hillary - a husband and wife team that loves traveling, going on adventures, and helping others do the same! For the past two years or so we have been living in and traveling through Mexico! We have lived in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico City, and Querétaro. Additionally we have traveled to a few other places within Mexico such as Puebla, Huasteca Potosina, Monterrey, Zacatecas, Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Cancún, Aguascalientes, Morelia, Guadalajara, Cholula, Oaxaca, Puerto Escondido, Huatulco, and a Valle de Bravo, Tulum, and a few others 😃

Definitely not! My wife is caucasian and she loves all cultures and backgrounds specially the Latino culture. But the reality is that about 45% of the US population support a racist Republican party and their racist policies, starting with president Donald Trump, Steven King, Marco Rubio, Ann Coulter, Jesse Lee, Fox news, etc. Plus we can't ignore that racism and white supremacists are on the rise. That 45% of the population, I divided it into three categories: Uninformed, misinformed and racist. How can we fix this issue? In my case, get informed, share the information, motivate people to be part of our Democracy and if their are eligible, to vote (informed vote). You guys are doing an excellent job showing the real side ( in this case) of Mexico and it's people.

¡Definitivamente no! Mi esposa es caucásica y le encantan todas las culturas y orígenes, especialmente la cultura latina. Pero la realidad es que alrededor del 45% de la población de los Estados Unidos apoya a un partido republicano racista y sus políticas racistas, comenzando por el presidente Donald Trump, Steven King, Marco Rubio, Ann Coulter, Jesse Lee, Fox News, etc. Además, no podemos Ignora que el racismo y los supremacistas blancos están en aumento. Ese 45% de la población, lo dividí en tres categorías: desinformado, desinformado y racista. ¿Cómo podemos solucionar este problema? En mi caso, infórmeme, comparta la información, motive a las personas a ser parte de nuestra Democracia y, si son elegibles, a votar (voto informado). Ustedes están haciendo un excelente trabajo mostrando el lado real (en este caso) de México y su gente.

@@gustavobarajas6155 Tu argumento esta cargado de prejuicio y pesima informacion. 1.- El protestantismo no es una sola religión, resulta ridículo que englobes como lo haces. 2.- No por ser estadounidenses se es protestante 3.- Existen mas religiones importantes aparte de las protestantes y eso incluye incluso a la Catolica 4.- Resulta patetica la forma en que generalizas a todo por ser "gabacho" 5.- Por supuesto que hay mexicanos racistas, eso es innegable a menos que vivas en una burbuja Y asi me podria seguir enumerando lo pesimo de tu argumento.

@@siiimidueno9693 USA Eso es algo que la gente comun no ve ya que a pesar de que los noticiarios locales te muestran ciertas cosas no te muestran todos los eventos que ocurren en USA, revisa internet o YT y busca "cop kills innocent" y veras el aplastante numero de policias de USA matando a sangre fria a ciudadanos que no hacian realmente nada malo, te doy dos ejemplos uno viejo; en una parada de trafico a un negro con su familia el iba manejando y le indico al policia que estaba armado, esto para evitar un incidente triste... el policia se asusto sin razon, el negro dijo que iba a sacar la pistola y entregarsela para su tranquilidad y el policia le disparo y lo mato en frente de su esposa e hija (hija si bien recuerdo) el oficial fue exonerado de un asesinato. Segundo; hace poco hubo otra clasica balazera al azar en USA, la policia que respondio llego a buscar y entre la gente normal varios armados por protección sacaron sus armas, entre ellos un negro, casualmente mataron al negro que saco su arma para protegerse y proteger a otros, negro + armado = sin preguntas matenlo, avisaron que mataron al sospechoso para luego descubrir que era un inocente buscando proteger gente. Y asi existen cientos de casos; policia mata inocente basado en prejuicio racial, policia es exonerado... solo en USA y esto respalda mi comentario anterior de que el racismo puede ser especifico de un pais/"cultura" y pongo "cultura" al referirme a USA porque en lo particular por eso creo que son como son, no tienen una cultura real, tienen multiples culturas que nunca se asimilaron para convivir mutuamente como pais y es un pais que tiene prejuicios raciales muy enraizados en su sociedad.

Weritos, congrats on your efforts learning the language! I’ve traveled through 48 states in the U.S. and all provinces of Canada in the last 18 years and I can say that with the exception of a couple of bigots, folks in these two countries are really nice human beings. Your guys Spanish is on point!!!! Besides the squilitos....🤣 Great video. I grew up in California and never experienced racism but one time when I was called a racial slur by a customer when I was working at a fast food restaurant when I was 16. I moved to Southern Illinois on a promotion and everyday I either hear people or feel so much hatred toward me. I have only met a handful of nice friendly people here towards me. At work walking the hallway I smile and say Hi to people and they just keep walking and never look at me or say anything....Thank God I'm moving back to California tomorrow. The funny thing is I grew up around white people and even married one and had 2 amazing kids. Her family loves me and I love them. I guess it depends on what part of the U.S. you are from.

Tim Gonzalez I’ve never been to “southern Illinois” so I could be naive but it might just be their culture there. If everyone has the same friends since forever, you might appear insincere being too friendly. Kind of like how foreigners think waiters and department store workers are too much here bc they’re more laid back in other countries and not like “let me know if there’s anything I can help you with [huge smile]”. Also, keep in mind, many people are brainwashed zombies. I’m white, born and raised in Dallas, and I still fucking can’t stand the way people act here sometimes-if I wasn’t white I’m sure I would’ve assumed racism many times. Sometimes flyover state people are just soulless (not that I don’t hate Californians too, I hate everyone, but still)

Many people living in Mexico don't always get to see the places you guys travel to, so I believe spanish videos aren't necessarily a bad idea. I think it's good to makes these types of videos getting the Spanish audience to understand how you you see Mexico and your experiences while traveling also motivates others to go exploring as well I have not visited Mexico since my grandmother died which is over 8 years and I have greatly forgot the good of Mexico (food , scenery, the endless walking, the sweets! ) watching your video makes me remember all the good times I had in Mexico with my grandma thanks !

No he escuchado ese estereotipo antes. Pero lo entiendo. Hay muchisimos gringos en Mexico, y la mayoria vienen porque pueden vivir mejor aqui con menos dinero que en gringolandia. Vienen por razones economicas, no porque aman a Mexico. Y como aqui muchas cosas son muy diferentes, (y no todas esas diferencias son buenas) se quejan mas cada vez. Pero, por otra parte, muchos gringos tienen una actitud de "si no amas totalmente a cada aspecto de Mexico, si tienes UNA SOLA QUEJA, mejor regresate a tu pais."

Creo que sus videos ayudan muchísimo no sólo a aquellas personas que hablan inglés de nacimiento, sino que nosayudan a los mexicanos a valorar nuestra propia Patria. Definitivamente NO,la gran mayoria son tolerantes,desde luego entre 330 millones de habitantes vas a encontrar una cantidad de gente intolerante, no solo entre los blancos sino tambien entre los ciudadanos de otras razas,( latinos,orientales,afroamericanos,etc.)

Actually, I as a Mexican see my country differently from your program. My experience in Puerto Vallarta, for example, is that the gringos form their exclusive and excluding circle, they are people who do not eat Mexican foods, nor talk to Mexicans; rather, they see us as "aborigines" for anthropological study.

aqui en los United States la palabra (Racista) perdido su significado. los partidos politicos y muchos canales de la tele los dicen que si eres Patriota Nacionalista amor a La Patria es Primero (Eres Racista). Si estas contra la boda de los hombre con Hombre mujer con mujer eres Racista. Bueno unos diran que hasta ser Christiano es ser racista. Y me da lastima que estan diciendo que ser blanco tienes privilegio nomas por tu color de piel. El amor primero !!!

Guero y Guera: Racism will never go away. Unfortunately, it is something that we as humans have inherited and tranncends back since the early days of slavery. In fact, racism is a bi-product of slavery. . What it did was it created a second class of citizens that were used and abused and were separated from their tribes and families. . Fast forward to today, it is up to us to educate and inform those that are ignorant or simply misinformed to show them that we are all created equal in the eyes of God. .

What you just said is true, probably racism is the most common stereotype for gringos but it's not true, most gringos are as nice as most Mexicans, unfortunately media distort everything in their favor, never judge others by third parties, we have to experience firsthand to be fair and objective.

I am so happy: I started studying Spanish a couple months ago, and I can read and understand the title of this video. I am 58 years old and have spent my life deaf and dumb to Spanish. I have studied Greek (ancient and modern), German, French, Finnish, Latin, and Arabic, but the Spanish right next door to me, the one language I have a chance of using in my daily life, I have not learned until now. It feels good finally to get some comprehension of it.
