Okie, while her love for Dimash's voice and performance increases over time, my total RESPECT for Anna's analytical ability is sky-rocketing over that same time frame. She obviously got quite emotional while listening to Dimash's performance, yet her analytical head kept its cool, and she found a lot of things to break down and point out to us. I cannot help but subscribe to this channel. I respect intelligence and ability, and Ms Vaskelainen obviously has plenty of it.

Mä törmäsin Dimashiin tsekkaillessani youtubesta musiikkia ympäri maailman. Facen fanisivujen kautta sai lisäinfoa ja sitten sitä oltiinkin jo muiden suomalaisten fanien matkassa Moskovassa Kremlin konsertissa ja toisen kerran sitten tuli käytyä Pietarin konsertissa. Todella hyvä live-esiintyjä ja nöyrä, kohtelias ja vaatimaton kaveri. This performance was 4 years ago, you should see and hear himnow. Wow!! Dimash is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan, he started singing lessons and 5 when it was found he has perfect pitch. He is university educated with degrees in classical opera, another in contemporary music, pop and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical masterclass and has just (18th June 2020) completed his Masters specialising in Composition and Piano, and receiving his Masters degree with Honours, having achieved the maximum score of 100% and has just started his PhD in Musicology. His range is over 6 octaves (almost 7 now) but Dimash is dismissive and says it's not how big your range is but what you do with it. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He sings in 12 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is very good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a very hard language to learn but again he is doing well with it. In this performance he was 22 and in a competition for famous professional singers in China he was invited as a wildcard and was the only non Chinese and also the youngest competitor. After this one song he was catapulted to stardom and is now a huge pop star in China. He is now also famous in Russia mainly for his neo classical work with Igor Krutoy and many of those works are very operatic.He is also, thanks to RU-vid very famous throughout the world. His vocals range from a rich bass baritone through to an extremely high soprano and his whistle register has hit a D8 for 5 seconds with vibrato. He was on a solo world tour until covid-19 and in his concerts he sings for around 3 hours with an eclectic mix of styles. He is from a very musical family both parents and his sister sing, mother is a soprano. Dimash was offered a place with the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to follow his own path and he has been very successful thus far, but I suspect world domination will soon come his way. He is a multi instrumentalist too and is very competent with 8 instruments but can play just about anything. He is 26 now, and is mostly known as a live performer, he has released a triple platinum (in 37 seconds) album in China though, and is about to releasehis 2nd album shortly. But you’re so good at this that I’m betting you’re going to answer it before I ask. Olympico is another difficult song written especially for him by Igor Krutoy (who you’ll see in the audience at the end of Sinful Passion). If you want more opera, Ulisse (duet with Aida Garifullina, who is also wonderful) is great. Daididau and Samaltau are very different-songs from his culture. And Opera 2 is just a really fun romp. He’s also been putting out quite a bit of more contemporary music lately.

Like anyone else with ears, I LOVE Dimash's singing, but you guys add a phenomenal education in the workings of the human voice on top of that, and it is THE BEST thing on the internet right now for me. As for what else to watch and react to, well, just take your pick. I'm personally very fond of Ogni Pietra, Across Endless Dimensions, Sinful Passion, and Screaming, but then there are a dozen more an inch behind that you have to see, too. They say it's a very advanced technique, but I find what Dimash does even more advanced. Se on siis vuodelta 2017. Kiinan Hunanin televisio järjestää vuosittain laulukilpailun "Singer" ammattilaulajille, ja Dimash kutsuttiin mukaan ainoana ei-kiinalaisena. "Le SOS d'un terrien en détresse" oli koko kilpailun ensimmäinen esitys. Dimash oli esiintyjistä nuorin eli 22-vuotias. -- Lauluun liittyy paljon tragediaa. Sen tunnetuksi tehnyt Daniel Balavoine kuoli helikopterionnettomuudessa Afrikassa hänen toimiessaan vapaaehtoisena hyväntekijänä. -- Ranskassa laulun teki tunnetuksi 23-vuotias Grégory Lemarechal, joka pian sen jälkeen kuoli parantumattomaan kystiseen fibroosiin. -- Dimashin paras kaveri oli Denis Ten, taitoluistelija, joka voitti Sotshin olympialaisissa Qazxaqstanin ensimmäisen ja ainoan olympiamitalin. I enjoyed your analysis of Dimash's performance. I think the more you listen to him you will realize his upper register is more of a reinforced falsetto. Dimash doesn't really move into his whistle placement until somewhere past F#6 and his whistle range goes all the way to D8. Just when you think you have a handle on what Dimash can do, another performance comes along and makes your jaw drop.

SOS is about a human soul in distress that not liking what he sees going on around the world on planet earth asking what is the meaning and purpose of life with "why do I live, why do I die..." Well, there is an answer to that. We humans were created to honor and glorify our Maker, God our Heavenly Father....and the more of us that do that, the more we WILL like what we see going on in our world:-)

Dimash on harjoitellut 5 -vuotiaasta lähtien. Lisäksi alussa hän keskittyi sopraanon oopperatekniikkaan. Tämän ansiosta hän pystyi saavuttamaan niin korkeat nuotit tulevaisuudessa. Suurin nuotti, jonka hän lauloi, on D-8 (pianon kantaman ulkopuolella). Tämä ei tietenkään ole enää toimiva alue. Hän osaa laulaa kuudennella oktaavilla (ehkä seitsemännen oktaavin ensimmäiset nuotit). Riittää, että työskentelet vapaasti äänen kanssa 7. oktaavilla, jos kurkussa ei ole tällä hetkellä ongelmia.

Dear Anna, I am always very happy when I see singing or music specialists around the world responding to Dimash. It is not only a confirmation for me that this outstanding artist is becoming more and more known everywhere, but also the fact that people from other cultural backgrounds keep adding new aspects to Dimash, because they see things from a different angle. It helps me, as a hopelessly devoted Dear, who (apart from three years of recorder lessons and half a year of piano lessons) had no musical training whatsoever, to understand the essence of Dimash better.
