éS Le Dome Accel OG Review 

These are thicker than the Etnies snake. I saw the Spring 25 catalog and there’s no green, but there’s going to be a really nice navy/royal/grey pair and a black with green accents

@@enjoy_the_board it’s definitely a shoe I am excited to look at in person, a bit more padding compared to the snake should be nice. Also that’s very exciting a navy royal grey accel would be very cool, can’t go wrong with green accents on black shoes either, thanks for the info!

I have an 8.5 coming tomorrow and I’ll skate them right away for a few sessions. I’m sure I’ll like them too, I just needed the correct size

Are they the black ones with the black/gum sole?

@@enjoy_the_board white gum sole, just like yours in the video, I even bought them from the EU site a month ago, while the beige/white ones I bought December 2023

@@NuclearcoreSkeletness see that's where my frustration is; they change the sizing and the "fattness" without letting us know so the sizing is off and you don't know until they're on your feet.

@@enjoy_the_board Yes, but I also noticed this with DC Net, I have black DC Net that have a thick tongue, and I don't even need (almost) an elastic tongue centering straps, while with my white DC Net, I have to tighten them really tight, to the point where they don't even look like skate shoes. Although I'm not a skater, just a hip hop head, but I don't like to wear shoes with a small silhouette like Nike, Adidas or the other hype brands

@@NuclearcoreSkeletness I prefer tongue straps in every shoe, they're not in th eS tribo/vireo and the puffy tongue slides off center all the time. I don't notice it functionally, but it just looks weird.

I like the beefier ones a little more right now but I haven't skate the new style yet

@@cte I’ve heard the same thing for just about every shoe brand people have skated over the last few years

So are they like the Le Dome or the other pair? My shop homie is getting a special run of shop select accel OG in the fall so I guess I’ll find out how that batch fits

I'll put it this way; the previous (fat) accel OG I'd wear a 9, with these a 8.5 fits more like a 9 in the fat ones

@@victorperfecto7472 these aren’t the accel slim, they’re the accel OG but they’re slimming them down. Either way, I’d say TTS

@@enjoy_the_board i am about to buy the new shape. I’ll get the og in 7.5 as i am size 8 on the initial og releases

@@victorperfecto7472 that should work, I’m a 9 in the fatter accel OG and an 8.5 in the newer version. Idk if for this season it’s just the Le Dome and Year of the Dragon accel OG that have the slimmer fit though.

I could see that being a better fit; thin out the collar/achilles area a little but keep the tongue puffed. I just want them to taper the squared off corners of the tongue and make them rounder like the OG version.
