Ísafjörður - Minningarbrot 

I visited Ísafjörður three weeks ago, a beautiful town with lovely , friendly people. I am going to visit again in September to see the scenery at end of summer. I recently discovered I have Icelandic ancestry so I know why I am always warm in California. This town was so amazing to me that it felt like a dream .

I dont know if anyone spotted this, but in1966 Icelanders drove on the left side of the road, like they still do in the UK. In 1967 or 1968 we switched over to right-hand traffic, as can be seen in the last 10 seconds of this video, so the filming (no VCRs back then!) definitely span a few years....

Son of a gun! Beginning at frame 043, I believe that's a 1956 Chevrolet. I wonder what year this film was made?
