Welcome back!! Thank you for your hard work once again. The first time I heard this song was 7 years ago and I remembered the negative I had with it. Little did I know Österreich became one of my favorite bands nowadays. ~( °٢° )~

Here's my interpretation after reading some other interpretation. Definitely one of my favorite song. :D I had a dream of the time we were born… We lived so beautifully in that city of wombs, clapping our hands and laughing out loud. - The innocence of children, not knowing anything. Happily playing around, having fun. We drank down our paints and the colors of the rainbow changed; - Discovering the truth, how the world changed in their eyes. We began to wish to be held and stopped being able to walk on our own. - How they wish to stop time/growing and stay as a kid, to stay innocent. We laughed scornfully together, Devoting love to our toys, - Trying to ignore the truth by "Devoting love to our toys" (focusing on their own worldly happiness) As we wished to destroy the untouchable children, With simple words. - Jealousy towards "the untouchable children" (other people who have luckier life than them) A prostitute set a fire… and someone in a far off city died. - "someone died" (Himself being the victim) of being bought into life from "a fire" (sin) by "A prostitute" (his mother) and realizing it "in far off city" (in far time/ later on when he's older) Beckoned to by lemmings, we arrive at this world’s end… Please don’t get any stronger; amidst the pollution, a siren rang out, driving me mad. - Reaching the end, wishing to stop getting mentally stronger against the world/tired of living. "amidst the pollution" (amidst this dirty world), losing the will to live, "a siren rang out" (suicidal thoughts came in) I’ll always be waiting in the depths of that theme park; You know the way Heaven is structured. - "I" (happiness) will always be waiting in "the depths of that theme park" (afterlife), "You know the way Heaven is structured." (as you believe in your religion) I drank my bile back in as iron rain came pouring down. - Swallowing back his feelings, continue living, accepting the "iron rain" (blood rain) which also means bad omen in old times, or in short: misfortune (his birth/life) Papa and mama were mistaken: I can no longer pretend the numbers are wrong. - The fact that the past mistake of his parents; "numbers" (the numbers of children, him being the unwanted child) can no longer be ignored. You’ve just been praying this whole time, haven’t you? Giving water to artificial flowers… - Praying/watering to "artificial flowers" (god) that isn't real. We laughed scornfully together, Devoting our love to that body; - To continue living scornfully, "Devoting our love" (accepting) "that body" (the world) I want to burn that worthless picture book, With the breaths of those sheep! - I want to burn "that worthless picture book" (the past), with the breaths of "those sheep" (society) We lit a flame in our bodies: I’m sure you can hear it well enough to drive you mad… It’s telling us to, “live”! - Even though we burn our past, we can still hear it deep down, the urge of wanting to have a better future from that ugly past.
