My childhood dog passed away about 9 hours ago. The pain I feel is immense, and it hurts to think that she is now a part of our memories. My parents got her when I was one year old, I’m now fifteen, and she passed away at the age of fourteen. I honestly think it was a miracle to have her for that long. She was the sweetest little dog. She has always helped me during tough times, and I’ll never forget her. My heart goes out to anyone else who is also going through this right now.

We’re not all here for the same reason… but there’s something truly special about sitting here, reading the comments, the replies and seeing how people all connect over something as simple as music, it makes me feel like there is still hope in the world (Just a quick edit, I saw the conversation in the replies guys, I’m so sorry for everything that happens in life, shit happens and I know it, it’s happening to me and it does to all. My fiancé passed away to cancer in 2018. A lot of times I get lost when I cannot see, feel or hear her no longer. And the remaining times, I do what I can to make me feel positive and try to do the right things in my life. Because I know for a fact she will be waiting for me with open arms on the other side. I lost a huge chunk of my soul, but I am hanging in there. Sometimes I do see her in my dreams of her on a white horse on a beach riding bare back. Something she always dreamt herself. Mom is gone. She passed away not long ago. She was interred in the middle of the winter. A light snow fell that day. This just brought that day back. Not sad, but just sublime. She's no longer suffering.
