Veisinia Helu youngest daughter of the late Professor 'Ilaisa Futa 'I Ha'angana Helu performing a Tau'olunga choreographed by Sisiuno Helu to ʻŪpē ʻo Lupepau'u & Fuifui Koula at Tonga High School Reunion, Sydney Australia, 8th July, 2010.
Idk who choreographed this tau’olunga but it’s brilliant. I can’t speak Tongan but she looks like a story teller, and a beautiful one at that. Every move and stroke of her hand was well placed and coordinated in such a beautiful and graceful tone.
As a Samoan I love and enjoy watching Tongan dance it’s so much like Samoan dance very graceful and the songs make you want to get up malie tahine Tonga Malo Le siva
Been watching this 30x now. Still the best choreographed dance ever. Some actions are novel and so marvellous. Only this beautiful dancer can pull it out perfectly because she is light on her feet and easy on the eyes.
No matter how many tau'olunga vids I watch and how great of a dancer those girls are, something about this one just stands out 😍🙌🏽 She's a beauty, the fkhaka is different, her li haka is on point and the fasi is malie👏🏽❤️ Mesmerizing forsure 🙇🏽♀️
The song is suposed to be like that since it the song and haka were fa'u in Samoa, her father Futa Helu made the dance for her if you look at the end of the clip Hon. Lupepau'u is sitting there watching Futas daughter dance for her a song that was written for her and the joy her birth brought, and her tau lalo is just fine and her hips well that is the art of tau'olunga to move sino molu not like an unbending ruler, she is a graceful dancer but hey you have your opinion and I have mine!!!!
Of all tau'olunga videos on RU-vid, this is the one that I keep coming back to. She truly is brilliant in her dancing and telling the story of this song. Beautiful work!
I have watched this tau'olunga several times and I think it's just perfect, Veisinia Helu is very beautiful, she dances so beautifully and it's a lovely song and choreography! Koe tamaiki eni oku totonu ke nau 'alu 'o fe'auhi he Miss Heilala. RIP to her beautiful mama Kaloni and her late father.
Rarely have I come across a Tongan Dance so graceful. Everything is well coordinated, hand, head, body, feet movements. 'Ikai ke te fiu he sio. The Samoan influence makes it more enjoyable. I wish more Tongan dancers copy her style. Hange koe fakateki 'ikai ke toutou 'ai noa'ia. Kaiha'asi pe. Malie, malie e Tau'olunga ta'ahine! If you have a dance studio, I will bring my grand daughter there! Tonu atu ho'o haka'i e 'Upee e Ta'ahine ko Lupepau'u.
' if i had to rate her dance it is 100% perfection ! For people who try to judge saying she can't dance I'm sure you guys are PLASTIC Tongans ! She has pure talent, her body language, feet, face and hands were all flowing and graceful and she is from a well known family who knows so much more beyond TONGAN Traditional dance. Her dance was influenced by Samoan Taualunga but still keeping it real to the Tongan fakahaka (moves). So unless you know what Tongan TAUOLUNGA really is. . . . . . keep the negativity to yourself and enjoy the video you flippin annoying people -_- Zzz !
