That handle needed a shoulder

Life hack use a hot glue gun to secure your work when a vise won’t work. Keeps it secure and is easy to remove no damage to the wood.

You should never use glue when making a mallet. It won't withstand the swell and shrink of the seasons well.

I think your mallet turned out great. But I do agree the video would have been more enjoyable with just the sounds of tools and working without the music. Not the kind of music just any kind of music is distracting. Keep up the good work.

Just my opinion: I wanted to watch this, but the music was so distracting that I had to stop. Listening to it with muted audio also cuts out all the great machine and hand work sounds.

I saw some negative comments about the music, so I just wanted to chime in and say that I for one enjoyed the music you chose. I love acoustic guitar, but it's nice to hear something different on one of these videos. The music here reminded me of some Macedonian music I've heard before. Woodworking projects should be fun, so why not have fun music? Oh, and I like the way the mallet turned out, too.

I'm sorry but I'm with everyone else. Usuallky if the sound is not to my liking I turn it down but the intro was like nails on a chalk boarb. Be more selective with your music or go with out and more will stay and watch. Good luck.
