☆ Η παραλία Γλαρόκαβος απλώνεται στην ανατολική ακτή της Κασσάνδρας, στο πρώτο πόδι στη Χαλκιδική. Απέχει 4χλμ. από το Πευκοχώρι. Η παραλία είναι αμμώδης
με μικροσκοπικά βότσαλα.
Η λιμνοθάλασσα του Γλαρόκαβου είναι
ένα παλιό έλος που με τη διάνοιξη
στομίου μετατράπηκε σε λιμνοθάλασσα.
Το 1970 με τις εργασίες εκβαθύνσεως
για ελλιμενισμό μικρών σκαφών και τη
δημιουργία μαρίνας, μετατράπηκε σε
καταφύγιο μικρών ψαροκάικων,
αλλά και ιδιωτικών σκαφών.
Το μήκος της είναι 1500 μέτρα και
το μέγιστο πλάτος 400 μέτρα.
Το στόμιο έχει άνοιγμα 25-30 μέτρα.
Στην βορειοδυτική πλευρά της μαρίνας
δεσπόζει εκκλησία του 19ου αιώνα,
αφιερωμένη στη Ζωοδόχο Πηγή και στον
Ευαγγελισμό της Θεοτόκου.
Στην ίδια πλευρά διακρίνονται
τοιχοποιίες υστερορωμαϊκού-παλαιοχριστιανικού
οικισμού.
Η περιοχή έχει ενταχθεί στην Ειδική
Ζώνη Προστασίας Natura 2000, αφού
διαθέτει άγρια χλωρίδα και πανίδα.
Στην παραλία Γλαρόκαβος,
υπάρχουν beach bars,
ξαπλώστρες και ομπρέλες. Ανάμεσα στα beach bars υπάρχει άφθονος χώρος
για να στήσει κανείς τη δικιά του ομπρέλα.
Στο άκρο της παραλίας, γνωστό ως "Φάρος" στήνεται κάθε καλοκαίρι ένα υδάτινο πάρκο με φουσκωτά. Ο Γλαρόκαβος αποκαλείται συχνά και ως «Γαλάζια Λίμνη» της Χαλκιδικής
Πίσω από την παραλία υπάρχoυν μεγάλα
δέντρα όπου μπορεί κανείς να
σταθμεύσει τo όχημά του.☆
