Another case of a stuck fan, where the axle bearings got stuck due to dirt accumulation. I made another video about this in the past, and I fix this one the same way. A few drops of diesel fuel in the bearings, using a small siringe, and the grime is disolved, and the diesel acts as a lubricant, keeping the bearing from stucking again.
WARNING
This is a perfect example of how you can get distracted and make mistakes while working with electricity.
I got excited and distracted, and forgot to pull off the plug from the outlet.
DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE
learn from your mistakes and the mistakes of others, and improve.
Always remove the power cord from the outlet, and always wear gloves when working with electricity. Besides the fact that gloves will keep your hands relatively clean when working with oil, diesel, dust and grime, they will keep you safe in case you forget to pull the cord from the outlet.
The back cover was missing too, so I used a soda bottle to make an improvised back cover, which I then pierced all around, to let air circulate and cool the motor. And I also removed the pivoting mechanism, cause that was broken too.
Simple fix, simple project.
Again, always be careful when working with electricity, use gloves and proper tools.
