Father Athanasios, together with Patriarch Bartholomew (who is at the helm) and unfortunately many others you obediently serve the agenda of ECUMENISM! How do you reconcile in your conscience your obedience to ECUMENISM and at the same time be a Bishop in the Orthodox Church? Our Orthodox faith is the true teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ, handed down to us by the holy Apostles and our holy Fathers our great Saints, the Pillars of our Orthodox faith! It is the path which leads us to our eternal salvation, our eternal union with our beloved Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6). ECUMENISM on the other hand (which you serve), claims that, - all paths lead to eternal salvation irrespective of whatever so-called god one may believe! ECUMENISM, through individuals such as you, Patriarch Bartholomew and many other ecumenists aim to unite our Orthodox faith with all the other numerous so-called christian heresies, as well as with all the other so-called faiths on this planet! How do you reconcile the above Father Athanasios? Our Lord's teaching is crystal clear: "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other... (Matthew 6:24). By serving the agenda of ECUMENISM and at the same time present as a Bishop in the Orthodox Church you are serving, two masters! How do you reconcile it in your conscience Father Athanasios? Also, in this interview, mention was made of Saint Justin Popovich. This holy Saint has written extensively and warned the Orthodox flock that ECUMENISM is, - the heresy of all heresies!!! Why Father Athanasios do you not take heed of Saint Justin Popovich? You are full of contradictions Father Athanasios, you are forgetting that GOD CANNOT BE MOCKED!!! Further, you very often make reference to, obedience and humility as necessary for our salvation! What you are omitting to say however is that we must be very careful and only be obedient to our Lord's TRUTH and only bow our heads in humility and follow teachers who teach our Lord's TRUTH! Father Athanasios you are misleading God's flock! According to the particular audience you are addressing you change your tactics and systematically and methodically twist and turn your words and present a combination of, - truths, half truths, and non-truths which confuse and blur the conscience of God's flock as to the true teaching of our Orthodox faith and thus you fulfil the agenda of ECUMENISM! One appalling example is the talk you gave to a group of young people on homosexuality! Listening to you speak was like listening to the devil speak through your mouth! Father Athanasios, we have love in Christ for you as a person, but, WE HATE THE EVIL THAT YOU ARE DOING! We beseech you, REPENT and change path! It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:31). Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows that he will also reap. (Galatians 6:7). "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world if he loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:26)
