not necessarily if you know a couple of things about cables in electronics ( in general in most cars red is power and black or brown the main ground , so if you connect only these two the radio turns on and you can triffle with settings - all the other colours do something different like thermometer etc which means you may not need to connect them in order for the radio to just function ... what you need to connect though are colours like orange for example and right beside it orange with black stripes , purple and right beside it purple with black stripes etc are usually speaker cables that you need to connect to listen obviously ... l said that in my video but l guess you arten't Greek to understand , correct !! well by saying that ... you just learned electronics my friend !! vualla !! that simple !! . but if you are bored to cut - connect - tape ... cut - connect - tape every single cable ... yes you should be looking for an adfapter ... l have one for sale ( 10 - 15 euros ) as the matter of fact for mini cooper R50 R52 R53 and mini one respectivelly
As long as height is concerned you have some more room ... But you won't have access to the lighter ... Will be extra tight ... 3-4 cm more space is available if not mistaken...as far as width is concerned you can't do much since on the sides are the columns that support the console...you can't do much on there
