I never expected an anime like love live to hit me this hard man

Muse was like a flock of birds, flying through the sky to try and reach greater heights, giving hope and inspiration to those who watched them. That flock of birds may no longer be flying, but that's no reason to be sad. Because those birds left behind their feathers. As if passing on their torch, those feathers found and gave birth to new birds: Chika Takami, Ayumu Uehara, Kanon Shibuya, and so many others who would take flight themselves. Even we have some of those feathers. We may not be able to see them or touch them, but the silver feathers that made up Muse will forever continue to live on inside our heads as our precious memories of them.

The lyrics even includes "Tsubasa", the one who gave Honoka the inspiration to become a school idol. This is legend!

Can we just take a moment to appreciate that Honoka's line basically says "It started with Honoka". :')

I get sent waves of sadness every time I listen to this song and I hear their names because it brings back so many memories. I actually finished this anime a while back and to this day I still listen to ɥ's songs. I will never forget love live!

Just finished watching love live school idol movie last night. What an emotional journey I went through watching the original love live series for the last couple of weeks. Listening to this song made me cry knowing this would be muse's last song before they disband. Seeing the group dance along with the credits showing their training clothes really added to the emotions I was feeling while watching their last live show. I feel there will never be another school idol group I'll feel the same amount of emotional attachment to like muse (especially Honoka). Now it's on to love live sunshine for me.

But man, even though I watched the whole episode, OVA and the movie for one whole week, it felt like I've been supporting them for years. A weird line to cry over maybe, but whenever I hear the line I always think of μ's telling everyone to wave their hands and dance and be happy rather than sad in their final moment and I just start bawling

Even though I've not even finished SIP yet and only found LL about a month ago, this show has already taught me a much-needed life lesson or two. Minor one being not to judge books by their cover. I just thought I'd watch it because I thought Nico looked cute and wanted to know the character better. I did not think I'd cry 4 separate times in Season 1 alone from a few plotpoints that hit very close to home, nor did I think I'd come to like all 9 members of Muse. I also figured I would never like the music because I didn't care for Non-English lyrics. And yet, that was proven false as well. One much bigger lesson I learned from SIP is to live for right now, and cherish what you're doing in the present. You don't know when the present becomes the past. Things you do now may someday be distant memories. People you know and love may eventually be people you don't talk to anymore, for any number of reasons. Nothing is permanent. Friends, family, hobbies, or even your life. How did Muse trigger this realization? Other than some song lyrics basically saying to live for today, knowing that at the end of the show the members go their separate ways, cherishing the memories but moving to the future. Someday i will have to do the same to the friends I have now, to the life I live now, and this show has helped me ready myself for that day. The 3rd thing it's taught me is to just _go for it._ Related to Living for what's right now, ready but not scared for later is that you should just do things you want to do. What's the worst that could really happen? And is that worst-case scenario any comparison to the wholesome gains from it? I struggle with motivation and self-belief. A lot. But LL is ever so slowly moving me to keep doing what I truly want to. Even if I'm *not sure* I want to, I usually do deep inside. I'm a man of impulses, as evidenced by a cutesy girl with Twintails contributing significantly to something that stands to change my outlook on life itself.

This is legit the third time I cried ugly watching anime. The first one was end of S2 Ep12 and the second was S2 Ep13. The only anime that made me cry hard and I absolutely love it. Sunshine and Nijigasaki may have better animation, vocals and character development but this will be my No. 1 Idol anime of all time.

I'll be honest, I'm a fan of u's, but when I heard this song for the first time, the title was Japanese (which I didn't know the translation of). Now, seeing the translated name and the English lyrics makes me feel empty somehow, and reading the comments brought tears to my eyes. I've only watched the anime until START DASH and changed to playing the Love Live mobile games and listening to my favorite songs they sang on Spotify. Edit: For those that are confused, I'm talking about the trio START DASH (Honoka, Kotori, and Umi) from Episode 3.
