not just international action but socialism/communism calls for international unity of the workers, so it makes sense that these songs are proliferated worldwide and translated into many languages. They do have diverse sources: internationale was originally french, this song was originally german, warszawianka was originally polish, the USSR made a great number of their own socialist songs in russian, etc etc
am a greek myself and i have to say that unfortunatelly the greek language is not hellenic any more, with the passage of time the greek language lost a big amount of its hellenic originality. While learning greek you will realise that a lot of greek words are of foreign origin, as said the greek language is not hellenic any more, even the greeks themselves can not speak 100% greek, nobody in nowadays in greece can speak greek with hellenic roots. That's a pity because the greek language is one of the richest languages and does not need any loans, i wish all the best by learning greek, but keep in mind you will not be taught hellinic greek but a mixed greek language without its hellenic roots.
