More info: Igor Presnyakov studied classical music at a nearby academy and would eventually graduate as both a guitarist and a conductor for ensembles. His unique acoustic guitar-style is influenced by various musical genres from Reggae, Rock and Roll, R&B, Country-western, Jazz and Heavy Metal. Igor also rarely sings any of the lyrics to any kind of song that he covers, and instead skillfully translates them into a guitar melody, having his instrument sing the words.

Igor definitely is one of the best solo guitar Players i´ve ever seen. I´m playing now for over 20 years, follow him since 2012 an wondered how he does it. It´s not his talent only. I dont play less trained. But its the length of his Fingers. Even if i practice for more 20 years, my pinky won´t reach the bass strings as easily as he does it while going on the chords with other Fingers in ease.. He is like an Guitar Alien...

The music of mexico is vast indeed... and it takes influences from spain, meso american civilization,and even African influences. What I'm trying to say that there is regional mexican music (I'm not talking about the radio format). If you like spanish guitars, you can find that in the regional music of Durango, yucatan, and definitely Guerrero. It isn't really fair to name this song Cancion del Mariachi because mariachi is from Jalisco- which are known for their violins, bandolon, and trumpets rather than guitars (even though they are used).

Sitizen Kane that's because it's not meant to be an actual mariachi song. It's called the Cancion del Mariachi because "the Mariachi" is the name of Antonio Banderas's character, and this is the song that he plays.

My favorite of all his videos! I've noticed that in his videos where he does sing, he'll only sing for a few moments. Is it pretty much impossible to play such intricate songs like he does & sing at the same time for very long?
