I don't like sand. It's coarse, and rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere.
Fluidized beds are used in industry for various reasons. They also happen to be really cool to play with and swim in. I made a liquid sand hot tub by adding air in just the right way.

Evan Jennison that doesn’t make sand a liquid, and, they aren’t particles, they’re minerals. Think about water - the molecules are just slightly spaced from each other, which makes the water easily flow on top of itself, and makes it easy to put your hand into it. But for sand, sand isn’t actually a physical object that physically exists. Sand is just a ton of little rocks (minerals) that are bunched up to make a huge pile of minerals and debris.

We typically talk about up and down based on the earth, because it is the biggest gravitational force we directly experience as humans on the planet. But if we move away from the earth, there is another gravity pulling 'down' in the Sun, on each of the planets, on our moon, etc. Down is really towards a gravitational pull, up is really away from a gravitational pull. My mind is tickled.

Thanos Actually sand can melt in extreme temperatures and turns liquid, so yes it does, of course ice melts much quicker and it colder, as melted sand only melts in very hot temperatures, too hot to touch but it does melt into liquid. That’s how we make glass.
