This channel is the only one who has reviewed my specific sub woofer! Ever since I have always went to this channel to watch cool video. Easily one of the best Audio channels on RU-vid.
You mentioned windy sounding, then probably this 12 inch sub would be my favourite 12 inch sub to date, because I really love subs which are windy in a relatively simple or/and compact enclosures. Even for my tiny 6.5 sub I made a ported enclosure in which is windy in my car - 6.5 inch sub in a smaller sedan in a ported enclosure tuned to 22-22.1 Hz - to prove this I have also videos of it on my channel, so...
I build for a living. Just did a box for 3-3012's amd a single 3015R. I prefer the x series personally. Smoother lows and imo. I'm not a fan of the DB gasket ring either. They screw on from behind and you cannot invert the subs and flip the rings over. The push terminals on the 30 series are huge but they seem very thin and cheap. Other than that it's overall a good sub.
@@Deeepsound they seem to have glued the ring on this 15 I just did. The twelves were removable but this 15 wouldn't come off for shit haha. Even if you do remove it there's a lip on the sub still and it doesn't sit right.
Haven't seen any reviews for another brand D4S carries called Incriminator Audio. The entry level series has been reviewed but nothing above that. Would like to see a review on the Lethal Injection series (about $280 range) or higher models. They are made in USA brand while still competitive in price. The Lethal Injection 12 wants a 2.5 cube ported box which I believe is what your test box is so nice pairing.
Increminator audio is the real deal. Amps or subs are no joke. Had a lethal injection for 4 years and never skipped a beat. Gave it to a buddy 3 years ago and still slams.
Parker.. You should check out, test, and really consider the B2 Audio Rage XL 12.. Since you are doing the Sundown x12, Deaf Bonce 3012/3512.. All these subs are in the same category.. The subs is a piece of Art and A BEAST!!!
From Russia, with love! I've been running their SA3 model for years, with one recone done to upgrade coil and tinsels (6 layer/8 layer - dual/triple tinsel). Best subs hands down, and worth their price on quality. Parker's Palace is still bumpin' strong, keep em coming brotha 💪
Wahoo.....you made my day! I'm running a pair of these on a 7900.1 and they absolutely slam but I'm gonna run more power. I don't have the R series but from what I'm told the voice coil is the only difference and the regular 3012's can take a ton of power too. @@GTILOUD this is an old vid. I had 2 3012's on a AAB 7900.1 and then put them on a Taramps Bass 15k. They're still running in my friends car on a smart 5 per sub. I'm now running 2 sundown zv6 12s on a Bass 15k
That DB sub is Pretty impressive on the wattage.Keep the videos coming Parker.I blew my sub and it was wired only to 2 ohm 🤷.I recently rekindled my love for 🔊 after watching plenty of your videos old and new 💯👊🏼
I have never been a fan of how deaf bonce subs looked in the past but this new series of apocalypse subs look visually awesome. Honestly I’ve always thought carbon fiber on huge heavy subs was a gimmick and I still do performance wise, but these look so clean. Everything about them looks quality. With that said, the price reflects that. I’m more of an SQ guy so I’m not in the market, but if deaf bonce made a high qts, low inductance woofer that looks like this, I’d probably buy it just so I could look at it.

What size wire did yu fit under the terminal on that sub? Looks like it could fit 4 gauge! Or two pieces of 6 gauge. Also curious what size wire do you have going to the box you have from your amp? Love the content and always thanks for sharing. Cant wait for the sundown 🤜🤛 deaf bonce standoff!!!
Been waiting to see this. Love the look of them for sure. I have 4 of them currently on a soundqubed 4500@1 ohm an they are starving for power but still get down. Cant wait to see what they do on a taramps 15k. Just have to beef up my bank first
@@GTILOUD unfortunately there sitting in the boxes they came in. Had them on a dd m4a for awhile but it blew and the box they was in separated so haven't used them in almost a year. Got some vids on my page of them on the m4a though
Man I just subscribed, I’m new to the music world at the moment, I haven’t had a system in a vehicle since 2007 when I was stationed at Ellsworth AFB and that was two alpine type R’s on a alpine amp from Best Buy, the stuff you review is unreal to me! I’ve just acquired a conversion van and since the subs will be in the cabin with me I’ve been looking at 1 sub builds and feel like it will satisfy me for now so your videos are helping me out tremendously, thank you for helping a old head like me make intelligent decisions about my future purchases through your wealth of knowledge of subs! Love deaf bonce i just gotta say i have 6 avatar stu-1246 subs and i was popping coils like crazy and i had everything metered and tuned to a T. And i have been waiting months for the coils so I'm sitting on a crap load of money as paper weights. Just wish they would upgrade the coils lets see what happens. Thanks parker for the cool videos!!

Yea sundown has the titles so hard to believe anything until DB has as many! I’m sure they are good but they expensive to and for me sundown is right down the road I could drive to where they build the subs and get mine so I like to see my money spent here to! But best of luck to them!
Depends on your style I personally don't care how a sub looks honestly its about performance for me I like the cooling on deaf bonce im thinking about running some sealed for a Sq build
I just purchased for American bass XFL 1544 but looking at the coils they look copper can anybody tell me if this is normal or are they supposed to have black coated coils
Can these be used for a SQL setup? If not, what would you recommend. Single 12" in ported enclosure and mainly listen to hip hop, rap, R&B etc. Nearly 20 years ago I ran 4 x 15" JL Audio W6 and want to add some bass into my life again as I miss it. I was leaning towards the 13w7 but surely there must be something that comes close to that without the price tag. I want high quality but ability to play loud aswell. Im looking to feed it 1000-1500w rms

I hear a lot of port noise also check out resilient sounds platinum. Also you never answered my question before about why you are doing single 12s in that big open space.
Have you ever reviewed a Savard HiQ sub? I recently put one in a 2.5 cubic foot box on a JP8 amp(about 1k watts) and it is VERY loud. Everyone comments on how clean it sounds. I’ve got a video on my channel of it.
You got to remember that this was a 2800 RMS sub the American bass was like 1,000 RMS sub. So he was definitely overpowering the American Bass I'm sure if he put 10000 watts to this the numbers would be way way higher and beat 145 easily. Not all subs are the same RMS numbers and Max power numbers got to take that into consideration. But the American bass XFL it's definitely one of the best budget subs on the market no doubt about it
@@PeterFeltersnatch852 nah in short i feel its bout efficiency the American bass gets louder at lower power BUT the DB has more potential volume and probably at many other frequencies too so 5k watts and the DB will be louder etc. But for less power the AB etc. Do well
