@@unclegardener I see men being passionate in their communion with Allah, and I don't believe in ANY religion. But if you are going to praise your God, you should do it with all of the passion you can muster. Energy + Motion = E-motion. Emotion is the key to faith is it not? Are they not singing praises? Are they not devout in their worship? Are they not respectful in their faith? Why are you judging them? Even the Quran states that a person should not judge others, that judgement is Allah's duty. If you do not believe all Muslims should be judged by the actions of one, do not judge the actions of any that do not bring harm to others through their faith.
@@unclegardener lol that's what you believe. you might be practicing the wrong faith to begin with for all you know. or they might be practicing the right kind, contrary to what you think. every religion considers itself to be the "right"
This was made into a meme, and it made me laugh. Now that I have seen the original video, I can't help but love it. I'm not sure what's happening, but everyone who's partaking in this does it in perfect unison. The rythem, beat, singing, and dancing are beautiful. And they do it for 30 minutes, which is incredible.
Because a sound system or instrument is external and the people dance to it. But in this dance it IS them, united. They are the sound system and they are the instrument.
I don't understand what they sing, but their energy is admirable, I watch this video and it fills me with courage and strength. I would have loved to belong to such a united group.
Guys let me explain. This type of zhikr was done by sheikh Mansur before battles back in the 18th century. This not a act of worship but more of a chechen tradition. It gives the energy to move on into battle. It was forbidden by Russian tsars to do.
Im surprised no one is commenting on the coordination of the inner and outer circle. The men are traveling at different speeds, but maintaining a unified circle. And I didn’t even think about the older men’s fitness. They’re just great guys!
@@lordclancharlie1325 its actually not so they can run faster the elders get the respect of going in the shorter line so they don't gave too run as much or fast
I just enjoy all the hidden choreography controlling the group. At 3:10 we see the clockwise stomper. He decides they are going clockwise in their next lap around the room. But the counter clockwise stomper is not happy and he steps up to challenge the clockwise guy to a dance off in the middle. 3:20 He succesfully defeats his opponent and so they go counter clockwise. We can see his fellow counter clockwiser quickly congratulate him with a pat on the shoulder 3:33 The clockwise stomper gets angry at his defeat and aggressively dances towards a rival to reassert his dominance at 4:52 This time his potential opponents get intimidated and offer no dance off and so they go clockwise on the next lap.
missed with pagan. It started 200-300 years ago when Chechens lifted the spirit before going to battle against russians. Remembering Allah. Not pagan and not deep in prehistory 🤣🤣
I don’t know why I enjoy this type of video. I love their energy, their rhythm, their chanting and commitment! But I still don’t understand what it’s all about! But still enjoy watching!
This is not entertainment. The ignorant people of the West have lost their customs and will not be able to understand and respect others ' customs. What these people are doing is serious.
This video is great on so many levels. The beat is great, these guys are in better shape than most people half their age, and this should be a workout video.
@@richardeversmann4105 Yeah, that's what got me as well. I'm a musician, and aside from the rhythmic aspect of this dance (exercise?), the fact that they did it for half an hour was astounding to me. Any idea what country they're from?
Mesmo parecendo um pouco engraçado (não quero ofender), eu achei essa dança incrível, com todo mundo cantando, dançando como se fosse uma família, Brasil aqui
When they remember Allah so sincerely, Allah enters their Heart, so how come a heart stop doing its duty when its creator is residing that momemt🙂. Have you ever thought of from where does the heart gets its power(electricity) to pump.

I have no clue where this is or what language is being chanted. I assume that it is a religious ceremony of some sort. But this is the most fascinating video I've seen in a very long time. I come back to this every few months and I just put on my headphones and get lost in the rhythmic chants, stomps and claps.

In India we believe an empty mind is the gateway to attain spirituality. Mind is normally occupied by several thoughts at a time. Zikr like this makes you be focused on just one thought. That is exactly what one does by rolling a rosary. However, you cant be doing this for ever. There must come a time when you drop even this thought and enter the ultimate trance.

@Ch H absolutely yes, Islam, like other religions, hold interpretations of religion in sects. Sufis are one of them, Sufi mysticism has produced philosophers of the caliber of Ibn Arabi, one of the greatest mystics and esoteric theologians in history. Among other things, it is the most tolerant sect, the only one in my opinion open to physical and metaphysical debate. The only one that leads, to a much more complex level, interpretation, life choices and the approach to rationality together with perception and imagination, a continuous circle that aims at the adoration of creation and the Creator.
@@tarekrekta5779 no? Until proven otherwise, the Sufists detach themselves from the Shiites and Sunnis ideologically speaking. They promote another idea of interpretation and another idea of religious observation. Everything that is born outside the Shiites and Sunnis is the result of a certain sectarianism, but in a completely positive sense.
Good on them, praising their God, gathering their community together, and keeping fit. I'm not religious, but I love the music of the late great Sufi musician Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Respect from Ireland 🇮🇪. Free Palestine 🇵🇸
