I was so insecure about doing it, after spending the last 5 days figuring out mods, bugs and other things I didn’t want to have another bug going on due to a bad ENB installation. After watching your video I followed it and it all worked great. Had to do some tweaks inside the game (it was too dark for shadows and interiors, I probably didn’t configure everything outside! But I managed to find the proper settings inside the game at the ENB menu). Thank you a lot 🙏🏽
Good gracious this is helpful! I remember about 3 years ago I tried modding Skyrim and I kept hearing about ENBs. The installation instructions always went way over my head. This video has made everything so clear and easy to understand. Thank you very much Elias.
This is quality content Like, really, I searched some guides but couldn't understand and now it appears so clear and easy It shows how talented you are to explain things Thank you :D
I've been trying to wrap my head around ENB for years. I've struggled to find clear instructions. Thanks to your video, I am finally able to enjoy it. Can't wait to dive into a prettier Tamriel.
Damn you went through that much faster than your other guides, gonna have to watch it several times LOL! Thank you for the video, wish me luck on my first ENB install! :)
oh my god i finally did it! i have completely given up on enbs because i’m not tech-savvy enough to do it myself. still works a year later, thanks guys :)
Thanks man I knew ESO didn't explain it correctly. I've always watched videos on how to install ENB just to make sure I do it right. But his tutorial was the only one that caused my game to crash and cause EXTREMELY high brightness, and flickering
Dude I had to uninstall skyrim twice trying to get an ENB installed and about half hour ago found this video and JESUS CHRIST IT WORKED dude! Thank you so much! You’ve got a like and sub from me!
Hey man I cant seem to figure out.... How you dont have so many more subs! I know this is your second channel but man you are the best please never stop RU-vid man you're very good at teaching and hilarious at times. You have taught me a lot of important lessons as somebody who bought an expensive PC for experiences like this, but dont know shit about even basic file directories and windows features! You have helped mold a neanderthal into somebody that is fairly confident. I'm finalizing my load order and will report to.your discord if I have any problems. Currently I am having difficulty I'm getting the hot new city overhaul "Holds," to work properly in my load order. Any experience with this mod in the meantime? Thanks bro, keep it up.
Can't download it, on their site is only a few lines of text written and that's all. Looks like it's made by a kid in HTML and I can't download anything, there aren't no links.
I was a little late to the party, but thanks for making this video. Thanks to your clear and concise instructions I had an ENB up and running in no time.
@@hunterkiller1984 You've got grit. I would never sac FPS like that for graphical setting tweaks. I just saw how quickly Ultimate Skyrim improved in playability when I discovered how to disable it. I've only been in modding for a couple years but most of my bare-bones knowledge comes from consoles, not PC. So I am beginning to see the significance in things as minute as Hotkeys or 10- 20 extra FPS making a drastic influence in decisions when it comes to gaming.
If you just like the overall atmosphere of an ENB preset then i highly recommend playing around with the different effects. Ambient Occlusion and Depth of Field for example can eat ALOT of fps depending on the rig. Maybe you can even enhance your personal preference of visuals while bossting your fps :)
This actually worked, i've tried to install enb's before but each time it didn't work, and i wasn't expecting this to work either but it did, i just can't thank you enough for this, i'm subscribing now btw
Hey! Love your videos mate, one question though, why is my lod messed up after installing an enb? (objects like trees dont have much detail pretty close by me when they are supposed to)
ENB doesn't effect lods you just probably notice it more since things up close look really good. Use DynDoLOD and SSELodGen to generate distant terrain and objects. :)
really pissed off. i clicked on the enb downloader page and it gives ABSOLUTELY FREAKING NOTHING. what the hell? if i wanted just a blank page to look at, I'd stare at minesweeper for four hours. fix your stuff dude.
I'm really pissed off too...at you. Toxic entitled people like you cause the problem of mod authors quitting.. Literally Searching ENB download in any search engine finds it. Do you need this guy to wipe your backside too?
OK, very basic question here. What IS an ENB, exactly? What does it do in the game? Does it make things more high-resolution? Change lighting? Change textures? Why are they called "presets" what is being set, exactly?
ENB is a shader and it basically changes the appearance of light in the game but it doesn't do it through the use of the use of the engine. Basically thing of it as like a dynamic snapchat filter that can hijack signals from the game and alter it's appearance based on that. The reason they are called presents is because there is only one set of the core code for ENB and the rest is just settings tweaked by ENB preset authors to get the desired appearance they want. This is something that anyone can do through the ENB game menu. ENB is very popular because it is the largest single most change you can make to increase the visual fidelity of your game. Hope this helps.
I have watched this video over about 10 times but it still doesn’t work it probably because a really long time ago my dad modded skyrim on the same machine
I have a problem I have followed all the steps but it gives me this error C: \ WINDOWS \ SYSTEM \ d3dx11_43.dll is not intended for use with Windows or contains an error. original error status: 0xc000012f.
My DLL just simply isn’t working, tried an older version, tried downloading the individual file, etc and it just doesn’t download 46E any tips or fixes?
Well what about the fact that after installing the latest enb bibary for skyrim LE on WIndows 10 64, your game always crashes every time you try to start the game. Without the enb, my game does not crash. I have tried installing all the different Directx files that you need, but it does nothing
Thank you so much! The video is very informative. Each section is clear, precise and to the point. Thanks to you I was able to install ENB on my Skyrim AE rather painlessly. Btw what is the name of the background music you used for this vid?
Hi! Great tutorial, I just have a quick question. Can I install the ENB directly in my Mod Organizer 2, so that I can activate/deactivate it when troubleshooting or comparing different presets more quickly?
Okay, am I missing something? I'm trying to download the ENB Bianaries and when I go to the site there is nothing there and my web browser says the sit is not secure.
Hi, game CTD when I click on continue/load game. New game works, until I enter the Helgen Keep. Once I read that point, CTD again and it never works until i reinstall the game. Deleted enb files, and then it starts working perfectly. Any workarounds?? I really need enb.. without it, skyrim seems to be a little depressing...
i followed everything Correctly. only difference is i used WinRAR. but i did everything you said and did. but when i launch i don't see the ENB thing in the Corner and when i launch the Hot Keys do not work. i have no clue where i messed up
So if I already have a Skyrim installed with mods like Vivid Weather and Less Ruin Clutter, can I just install an ENB on top of this without any conflicts?
i used this enb a while back then i deleted the game and reinstalled it today but i bought the game as the special edition and when i reinstalled it, it only recognizes it as the regular skyrim and im not sure why
just picked up skyrim on pc again....to continue the saga of poophead the dragonborn. want to make the game look nicer only because in certain ingame lighting conditions it looks terrible and difficult to see. Is it possible to achieve this with ENB postprocessing and presets alone, without mods?
So I'm trying to install Vividian enb, I'm using mo2 and vivid weathers and I understand all the instructions up until "3. Copy the content of the Data folder in your Data folder or create a new mod in your Favorite mod manager" can someone pls explain?
hey so i followed this video and when i start my skyrim se my task manager tells em the game is not responding, also it tells me to do something with a shader cache in my gpu software and to set something in the ENBs sini folder to TRUE, so this does not work as i cant start skyrim, :( any help on the matter would be cool and most appreciated
idk if there are still responses to this, but if I have a preset that requires v0.266 and the closest preset I can find is v0.265 should i use 0.265 or find a further higher one up
I don't want any graphical mods i want only enb so i take a all files from WrapperVersion to skyrim folder and this doesn't work, when i on skyrim i haven't any window with options and fucking 75 fps on skyrim
So I have downloaded an ENB and it runs perfectly on my end a solid 60fps no issue, but when I stream on twitch it lags on my stream, but not on my computer. Any ideas?
Hey man, do you know if it's possible to install using MO so that you can have different presets for different profiles? I've looked around a bit and there seems to be no material on this subject.
There are different profiles in MO2 but mods are profile independent meaning the files in a mod in one profile will always be the same as the files in the same mod on a different profile. To get around that you can always create two installations of the same mod with altered names.
@@aielias89 what I'm getting at though is that you drag all the files to the Skyrim directory which means that whevenever you run skyrim you'll always get the same enb preset independently of what your mod loadout is. so how mo virtualizes Data, can you virtualize files in the root directory? After a lot more browsing I found out the answer is no anyway xD edit: I want to add, great vid, although I already installed enb. Wish I'd found this one first.
Hey man I just wanted to say thank you for all of the up-to-date videos you're doing. I like and subscribe to your channel. Quick question if you can help me What is ENB boost and how do we install it and configure it for better performance?
ENBoost is part of the Oldrim ENBs that dealt with a lot of the memory issues with the game. Skyrim SE does not have those issues as it is 64bit. Are you using LE or SE?
Oooohh ok👍 I'm using SE. are there any recommendations for FPS boost without jeopardizing my graphics set up ? I'm getting 24 FPS I noticed once I installed the ENB. I would imagine my system can handle more as it is 32GB RAM I9 processor With 11GB RTX 2080 TI graphics card Let me know your thoughts. I don't really want to install mods that reduce textures or remove awesome things like particles so if you know any other options as far as ini set ups or ENB set ups or mods to help please share and thank you in advance 🙂
will this work for the normal edition??? please i have been on this for hours and so far theres nothing for the non special or legendary edition version of the game
when i try to go to the ENB download page, they required me to sign in to enter the site. I don't know how to get around this and I'm stuck for so many hours here on this particular problem
