420 West Side This i agree with, they like i said need to upgrade the core with a tegra X2 or a Xavier series (Im talking about Nvida cores here) and as a result they would have to upgrade the cooling system if they want to make it portable still then costs would rise to where it would be cost wise comparable to an xbox one, around 500-600$ as a result i theorise the switch pro would HAVE to be docked otherwise it would cost more than an xbox one
Switch Pro ought to be portable still but No attachable joycons but, retain them for motion controls. I love the joycons but i absolutely want meatier controllers. A meatier console would be sweet too, more room for better stuff.
I think they'll just release a TV-only switch and wait a few years to upgrade the hardware itself. The TV model would probably run at higher clocks, allowing got better performance. They already have a handheld-only model, so a TV model would make a lot of sense. There would be a spectrum lol.

Honestly try the skull & co grip. (and analogue stick grips that make your thumbs higher help a lot too for accuracy). I did a bit of research and tried them out - it's the sleekest one out of all the options, good quality and can still can be docked. It's just really comfy. I'm playing my Switch WAY more in portable mode now. Before I could play for 20-30 minutes - now multiple hours. get grey handles so they match any joycon I reckon. Switch U = basically it's the switch 2, but nintendo want to ride the original switch's success, so they name it like that, confusing many people in the process, putting nintendo under heavy criticism, so they comeback with a bang with their next next gen console.

I mean a Switch Pro that's docked only will only get turned into a handheld console by MyMateVince, you can't remove a switch feature, because MyMateVince will always make a way to bring it back, and he's already made a Switch XL by powering a switch dock and TV (not a giant ass TV one that's small) and he's used a camera pointed at a switch lite to display it on a TV as well as using it on a CRT.
I am really hoping that in the future, I can play PS4-grade games on-the-go, on a dedicated handheld device... and No, I’m not talking about streaming games.
Here's a good concept... Switch Pro is just going to be a $150 docked only add-on model which is going to come with both a 3DS drive and Switch drive. It's going to require a Switch or Switch Lite docked into it to play the Switch games, but it alone is going to have enough CPU and GPU to play DS and 3DS games while connecting your Switch system to it as a separate gamepad for the lower screen.

Sorry but one or two games wont change the fact that the console belongs in the last gen. I wouldn't have any complaints if the hardware were better for the time. Sure its just a mobile console but because of it they could've upgraded it easily. Which they still can because of it's modular design But they didnt and because of it it suffered with performance from the start and now it'll become absolete when ps5 and xbox will be released Wish NVIDIA and AMD would just collab and create a powerful custom mobile chip for the switch
@@shuttzi9878 you completely missed the point of the console. It won't be obsolete because it was never about power anyway. With a growing player base it will get support from 3rd parties and also there is of course the first party lineup
Also we should get a petition for the first 3 metal gears to be ported in hd on the switch but probably the first one should be twin snakes unless they can update the graphics of the og one

simple answer, yes whilst the ps5 seems to be another console coming out with upgraded hardware nintendo has the edge by having a unique product and exclusives that makes it a great seller and if it gets major third party support the ps5 would struggle and only cater those who care about fps and visuals meaning they will finally have to give great exclusives like ratchet and clank ps5 also needs to support vr further aswell
What I think other people don’t think about is companies are ALWAYS working on new hardware. Is Nintendo working on a new switch? Absolutely, but they don’t talk about because their new hardware is probably still in the R&D stage.

what if the “switch pro” was solely focused on graphical power and can’t be put in handheld mode, so you can have three different choices one that’s better with handheld, one better with docked, and one that can do both but isn’t great with either
It doesn't need to be 4k but maybe 1440p at 60FPS I think would be enough to compete with PS5 and Xbox similarly to how it's 1080p is competitive with the Xbox 4K right now
The Switch PRO should be a dock that uses either the Switch lite or regular Switch and increased the dock performance to PS4PRo performance and cost about $200. The next full Switch 2 upgrade should come out in 5 years and still keep the hybrid concept, but with PS4 pro power on the go and docked. Maybe it would come with it's own dock or be compatible the theoretical Switch PRO Dock and let the consumer buy a Switch 2 which is a handheld only unit; with removable joycons for a flat $300 or a bit less.
I hope the switch pro can be portable and docked and I hope it will have 4K and better graphics on both portability and docked This I hope can save the switch and lite against the stadia ps5 and project Scarlett
This whole switch colour and joycon colour debate is getting pretty tiring. Everyone wants to harken back to N64 and infinite colour combinations. How long did those controllers last? Not long, but way longer than these joycons, especially considering the modern thumb-sticks. I feel like this is the big disconnection between big switch youtubers and standard switch gamers. Wait, let's mention our sponsor 8bitdo- ' We have great d-pads, but just make sure you don't ever use the thumb-sticks or bumpers, or they will wear out quicker than your joycon thumb-sticks!' We don't have to ask for xbone or ps4 performance, but we at least want decent hardware longevity, or at the very least decent enough software to justify buying all of this superfluous expensive colourful poorly-crafted BS hardware.
Then you’re better of buying a PS or Xbox. You’re taking out the switch handheld concept, the lite is acceptable because of its affordability and you can always take it like a controller to a play at a friends house

Theres a rumor going around recently from a trusted source from 4chan who says that the next generation of switch the switch2 will coincide with the release of breathe of the wild 2 because the switch 2 apparently will be a home console only and not portable because it will be more capable than any revision of the switch that came before it. What you guys and gals think about this? I personally think this is outrageous! Im here waiting for the 2nd gen switch and to hear that it will be docked only? Thats even worse than portable only!
For starters it is called Switch Advance. Bigger screen Long battery life Built in voice chat. It is just like lite and base switch as far as playing switch games. The nintendo home console isnt till mid gen of ps5 and scarlet. It will have VR. The reason nintendo made labo was to help find creators for next gen accessories. Switch family will survive on current gen ports of games from ps4 and xbox that have yet to come to Switch and of course nintendo specific IP. The trade off is Master cheif in Smash and Rare remaking 007 from N64. The patton for hinge joycon was leaked cause of future DS online service games coming to switch. A new case with joycon brackets on top and bottom of switch will be available everywhere after DS comes to online service. After Switch Advance launches Later the switch family consoles will price drop. Wether or not Switch Advance comes with projection dock not known. Eventually the switch lite will drop to 169$. Base model switch will drop to 250$ and switch advamce which will launch at 349$ will drop to 300$. Netflix isnt coming to switch till the tmobile promotion is over. There is more joycon controller colors coming later. The next gen home console of Nintendo at midlife of ps5 will be about 2/3 less powerful then ps5.

The switch pro may be a scd that boosts t he power pf the current device as a previous patent showed. It makes more sense than a 3rd device in my mi d, but i can also see a reality where a new more powerful switch comes out next summer to push nintendo to a very large install base to help compete with new hardware from a developer standpoint being i interested in large install base and easy sell than that of a new generation finding its footing.
At most a Switch Pro will be about as powerful as a PS4 Slim. It won't compete with the PS5, but third party devs would probably still be compelled to port games to it.
I'd say yes AND no at the same time. Current Switch already can't compete with PS4 and XBox especially in Specs. But still seem to be able to dominate in sales. Switch Pro would be no different.
Xbox/Playstation game on Switch? Easy: Halo Master Chief Collection. These are old games so i can see them running on Switch. Also the old Halo games are amazing
I thought the Switch Pro was officially released. Baited. Then again, sub box would be full if it was. But if I am to add to the vid conversation in hand, I think a Switch Pro would be able to compete because Nintendo kind of is in its own classification. Xbox, PS, and PC are very similar in the type of stuff they release. They all have exclusives, but they generally share the same games. The way Nintendo handles their games is mostly unique. I personally always like a Nintendo console to compliment my PC for their unique library. I always think Nintendo products will have a place to people and can compete with the others. It's due to the fact that Nintendo games are very family friendly, they appeal not only to the kids but the adults as well since some grew up with these franchises. That's always an easy sale. And the ability for portability adds to that worth.
Depends will thry have higher graghics compared to ps5. Bc ps5 will have Ray tracing. Amd navi gpu probably most likely 10 or 14 terabetes of storage. True 4k natively in 120 fps rendering to 8k. So i think they might have a chance if they have some of that stuff or better graphics or better loading times like ps5 unlike xbox they aren't doing that. But they could have a chance if they do almost the exact same things as ps5 not necessarily everything just graphics and loading times. So we could possibly see something similar to ps5 stuff but who knows it would be interesting for that to happen for the Nintendo pro
If Nintendo was to make a switch to compete with the PS5 and Project Scarlett, it would have to use the same hardware. And the fact that the PS5 and Project Scarlett are actual consoles, the switch couldn't be a handheld. It would have to be a console because of the fact that it uses the same hardware. Gaming companies can also release their games on the switch as well as next gen consoles. But that's also if they don't want to use the same hardware and keep it more handheld.

Colored consoles and real official special edition shells come out in last few years to help sell when they start slowing down. Early special editions and colored are usually basic colors or just stickers/skins pasted on the outside.
